"I liked this apartment specially because of the brook & greenery. Apartment size & internal structure is very hard to get at this price range. Highly recommended. Only problem is laundry room is in club house."

"Idyllic living environment in Ann Arbor... very friendly chipmunks, squirrels, and ducks too! I'm glad I lived here for grad school at the University of Michigan from 1990-1992. The running brook makes for a soothing spot to ruminate and introspect. Its location is a healthy walk away from North Campus, and a few Ann Arbor bus stops are close-by. The bus system in and around Ann Arbor is top notch. The only knocks are that the apartments only have a wall-mounted air-conditioner... so fans are needed to help distribute the cooler air from the living room and into the bedroom area. The other is that these apartments are very near to a railroad crossing so it means loud train whistles... often between 6-7 a.m. Yet the natural beauty of the surroundings truly inspires."

"I lived in Brookside Apartments for a year and a half and really enjoyed my stay. The view was amazing, so many greens and adorable ducks, I even saw a deer in the community once, so amazing. And what’s even more wonderful are the people there. Managements are very friendly and genuine. All my maintenance requests were fulfilled within 24 hours. Overall, a quiet and beautiful community."

"I lived here for more than 2 years and I loved it! I didn’t have any problem. Previously two of my friends lived here and had a very good experience, and recommended this place to me. Super beautiful apartments! Eugene is very responsive anytime that I called him, (even at 9 pm before Christmas Day)! He even helped me to find a sublease when I decided to leave Ann Arbor sooner, (I don’t think in any place they do this!). The place is very safe and the maintenance people are very nice and helpful. The view is super amazing and so relaxing! I am a PhD student and this house helped me to have a very quite place to work and concentrate on my dissertation! I Highly recommend this place!"

"Brookside apartments is a fantastic place to live. Having a unit right on the water has been a very enjoyable experience. The community is quiet and friendly. The neighborhood is scenic and there's a lot around (hint: Northside Grill is the best place to walk to for breakfast!). It's very close to North Campus and the hospitals. The main attraction here is the brook, and with that the wildlife. There's plenty here for nature lovers -- cranes, squirrels, lots of ducks (with ducklings around mid-May to June), woodchucks, colorful birds, deer, and more. If you're a nature lover, I would highly recommend looking at Brookside. It's nice knowing that my rent isn't going to a corporation that disregards its tenants. Management here is always top notch. My issues have always been resolved within a day -- most of the time, someone is at the apartment within the hour to help out. I thoroughly enjoyed my years at Brookside Apartments."
