""Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely" Being almost exclusively run by vounteers, seemingly with polite professional atitudes, from *SOME* of them. There is this extremely pervasive air here of these people forgetting that they are here to serve, and not to be served or cowtowed-to! Move here, and many of your "volunteering" neighbors would feel entitled to know your personal business, and to therefore have the upper-hand over you. Do you like loads of excessive and unecessary rules? You'd love it here! Facilities, your apt itself, and features are no better and sometimes worse than other HUD-housing for seniors or not. You'd better have your teflon on if you choose to move here. You might be stuck for the rest of your life wishing a nightmare horror-hotel like this, was not your fate, as is for some. I've had other friends and relatives here with the same opinion as I. We're not alone. This is like the patients running the asylum themselves! Stay away unless you've had your own frontal labotomy!"

"I came here to live 3 1/2 yrs ago upon the death of my mother. I was thrilled at the idea that I would be allowed to participate in running the building. I now run the little store we have on the first floor. I am a member of Congress. I was a floor representative a few years ago, Vice President for a year and this year I am President. This is a good place to live full of nice folks. I was drawn to the people here and to the idea of being part of helping to make it a lovely place to live. Our community has been impacted by Covid-19 but we try to stay friendly through the masks and the distance."
