"BECAREFUL if you live here. The maintenance lady that used to live here and work here she had the keys to every apartment because she usually opens the door for the maintenance guy to fix the apartment for people (thats what she said) one day she open the door to my apartment with not one but multiple people and kids were caring blankets and pillow and walked in my apartment. As soon as she realizes I was home they ran super fast."
"I have lived here for a year now and I enjoy it. My apartment is updated and great looking, the maintenance guy Chris is friendly and a great worker. Tons of parking, right down the street from a great park. It is centrally located and very reasonable rent. Karen the manager is super friendly and helpful. Low crime and quite neighbors."
"Very unprofessional maintenance does not know what they are doing. Washer and dryer broke for 4 months with no compensation. Then they had the audacity to keep my deposit. Trying to say the carpet was ruined. I should have took pictures when we moved out because the carpet was not ruined other than in the hallway and one of the bedrooms due to the washer flooding the apartment."
"Positive: Rent is way cheaper then any other apartments in Kentwood, especially for a 2-bed. Their MOST exspensive 2-BR is about $100 LESS then competitors CHEAPEST 2-BR in this area. Includes water/sewage/trash bill with rent. Includes dishwasher (works okay, can't complain), If you're lucky a garbage disposal (once they die they're being pulled out of units opposed to replacing them), stacked washer/dryer machines in your own apartment (no quarters!) and central H/C (no window A/C unit yay!). You do get a thermostat, and a microwave. As kitchen appliances have died, they've replaced them with pretty nice, brand-new ones in the same day. You can have two cats as well, which is a perk in my book. Monthly, carports are about the price of 2-packs of smokes; garages are only $10 more. There is wildlife all around (turkey, deer, muskrats, ducks, and geese.. lots of geese) with a pond right up-front as you pull in. It's down a side road so the privacy is nice, and it's really very quiet. Landscaping is upkept fairly well. Negative: Neighbors are a bit too nosey (could just be my building however). Office staff is AWFUL! When Karen gets annoyed with you she ILLEGALLY EVICTS YOU. Drama, snoody, rumor-filled unprofessional management. There isn't a waiting list, so wanting to move into the apartment buildings, or switching between units if you already live here (going from a 1-BR -> 2-BR) is pretty much impossible. They don't call you back if anything becomes vacant, you just gotta... call at a convenient timing. There is a strict No-Dog policy- but about half the apartments have dogs (switch of management/rules). I can understand why they made that rule.. but, seems unfair to hear all of your neighbors dogs barking and not be able to have a dog yourself. Maintenance shows up for emergency situations pretty much within an hour of you calling the office, but I've been waiting for them to fix my screen door (which is missing a wheel, so my options of fresh air are: 1) none 2) bugs/birds (YES, a FINCH!) fly into my apartment via the giant hole in my livingroom wall.) for over an entire year and they can't seem to come fix odds/ends... apartments only have windows/sliding door on one side of the unit- meaning no cross breeze, and only one angle of the sky/Sun."
