"I have really appreciated working with Kyle and Krista in order to get set up in our new apartment! They really bent over backwards for us. Since we had a tight turnaround from when our previous lease ended to when we could move in to Glen Oaks East, they were more than happy to give us a tour, approve us, do the lease paperwork quickly. The maintenance team & contractors did an outstanding job renovating and cleaning our apartment quickly and did quality work, which I was pleasantly surprised with (I’m used to apartments cutting corners to save a buck here or there but I’m happy with the quality of the work done). The positives - The location is great - close by 28th Street stores, restaurants, etc. but far enough away tucked into the trees where you don’t feel like you’re living in the city - Each unit has a patio or a balcony - The option to have covered parking for $25/month is nice (especially in the winter) - Parking has been fine for us. You might not get the spot immediately next to your apartment but there are always spots available. - Maintenance and the leasing team are very responsive and helpful! - Washer & dryer in unit! - Ceiling fan in the dining area - Love having 2 bedrooms & 1.5 bathrooms! - The walk in closet is great & the other bedroom’s closet is a great size too - Updated finishes - Dishwasher & garbage disposal - Animals allowed - Indoor pool - Recycling on site - Free car vacuum on site - Nest smart thermostat - Stainless steel appliances - Quiet neighbors Because the buildings themselves are old, you can tell that some of the doors, kitchen drawers or cabinets, etc. have an older look. For example, doors have some painted over hardware holes, inside the kitchen cabinets have a non-smooth surface (I covered with contact paper), or kitchen drawers look older/yellow plastic with new cabinet face attached to it. It’s not a huge deal to me as because it’s such a minuscule thing compared to all the positives about the apartment complex that I’ve found so far."

"Glen Oaks East Apartments are some of the nicest units my fiancé and I checked out! They are are located just outside of downtown GR near Forest Hills. The area is safe, all the units have been newly renovated, and the price is great! We had the pleasure of working with Kyle and Krysta and they are phenomenal. Both of them treated us like family and were always available to answer any thoughts or questions we had during the whole process. I would highly recommend Glen Oaks to anyone!"
