"End of August Moved to a new house with a pool and have no prior knowledge of how to maintain and run a pool, so I reached out and scheduled a tutorial from their service department on how to use the equipment and also a pool closing for 10-24-22 at 10am. The tutorial was wonderful, the guys that came did a fantastic job educating me on the equipment and showing me how to clean the pool and keep everything running properly. 10-24-22 waiting for our pool to get closed, the time was 10:10am and no one had arrived yet, so I reached out to the service department and the lady first states that the first job must be taking longer than expected they will reach out to you 30 min prior to coming. Which I totally understand. So I took off work in the morning and waiting around, once 11:10 rolled around I gave a call again wondering when they might be coming, the lady was very snappy and said she doesnt have a schedule in front of her and they will call 30 min prior, I expressed my concern that our appointment was 10am and took off work to be there, and she said that she would reach out and see whats going. Once 1pm rolled around she never reached back out and I call once last time to see if they were coming today or if today didnt work and she was short as ever and said they call 30 mins prior. So I went into work and my wife took afternoon off to stick around in case they came. 3 pm rolled around and my Wife decided to call and after being hung up on mutiple times by the same lady she got the same quick snappy response they call 30 min prior. So I called and got in touch with a manger at one of the stores and they were able to confirm that the schedule had us last on the list so they would not be there until 4-5pm. Which is what we wanted to know this whole time, if the lady in the service department would of just did her job and found out what the schedule was we would of known that we were not set up for 10am and could of planned for the end of day. Not sure why the person answering in the service department doesn't have the schedule for the day, but I feel that is a very important thing for someone receiving calls should have and if they don't have it should be able to put a little effort into maybe finding out for a customer that had been planning on service work at 10am and hasn't seen someone for 5 hours. This would definitely been a 1 star review if it wasn't for the Techs that showed up. They were very polite and speedy in their job and the only reason I will consider using them again. The first techs I had that gave me a tutorial and the ones that closed my pool were 5 star employees. Updating my review to a 5 Star, after our shaky first encounter, our pool opening went smooth as ever and the guys that came out were wonderful (Trevor was on of them not sure on other gentleman's name) they were very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Sue was quick to respond and helped me work through a troubleshoot for my Salt Chlorinator even though it wasn't a product that they sold."

"The place was empty yet it was very difficult to get service. We waited about 20 minutes before we saw any employees. We did finally get helped but not really. He showed us 1 tub and didn't explain anything. When we asked how soon could we get one delivered, they were unable to answer so they made up an arbitrary date 3 months or so into the future. I want to like this place but it's like they were trying to not sell us a hot tub. I don't get it."

"Called about a hot tub repair said they repair if you buy it there, that's fine. We asked if they could recommend someone, we were told to look it up on the internet. They obviously couldn't be bothered to help someone. I guess they won't get any future business from us, nore would I recommend."

"Zager’s service is amazing. The Holland store’s staff is always friendly and super helpful. The Service Department and staff is knowledgeable and takes care of any filter or heater problems we seem to have (a lot!). We also are very happy with the patio furniture we have purchased - great quality and great prices. We will not go anywhere else for our pool needs!"
