"We had stayed here several different mid week nights, while we were working out of town, I got contact dermatitis from the first visit, sheets smelled like straight bleach, I should have asked for new sheets ,my bad. Then next time we went they were at 80+ % occupancy so they doubled price of remaining rooms, I guess that is standard practice, but these rooms are not worth 250.00 per night, we have found another hotel to stay at, thank you, but no!!"

For a Hilton Garden Inn, this location is very modern and bright and in a great location! One of the best managed hotels with an extremely friendly, warm, and very accommodating team. When you travel as much as I do and stay at some of the finest hotels, this location ranks very high. It is a business hotel, but what drives my high-ranking is the entire team. "We were guests at Hilton Garden Inn Grand Rapids East Saturday and Sunday, August 26-27, 2023, celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and visiting family. Originally, we planned to stay one night, but decided to stay an additional day. I mentioned that we were guests because we were treated that way. We felt appreciated and welcomed. The staff was accommodating, friendly and professional. However, the only person who was NOT friendly was the owner, James. He did not acknowledge our presence at all, even while in close proximity. You lead by example. If your staff follows your example, your establishment is in jeopardy. The hotel ambience is beautiful and modern. Our room was clean, spacious and technologically equipped. There is dining inside the hotel and a full bar. The location was close to outside dining and shopping. In fact, there is a sports grill directly off of the hotel parking lot. Speaking of parking lot, the parking spaces are large. That is important to us because we drive a luxury vehicle and getting door dings was not a concern.There was access to an inside/outside pool and hot tub. A fitness center and laundry facility is also available. The breakfast was continental, but you also have the option of ordering from a menu. The food and fruit was delicious and fresh. We have concluded, when we visit Grand Rapids, Hilton Garden Inn Grand Rapids East will be our hotel of choice. Our stay could not have been more enjoyable."
