"The description and pictures that are written do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel; there isn’t an outside or inside pool, no free breakfast as advertised, there is a beach, however, you need to pick your way through the discarded beer cans and trash, and conditions of the horrible! The furniture couldn’t be sold at garage sale because of the condition and room was dirty/mold present/ stains everywhere/smelled like mildew! However, the electrical system is unsafe and is a hazard; no grounded outlets in the bathroom ( no GFI’s required by code), extension cords used to run appliances because lack of circuits, and air conditioner plug would fall out of wall receptacle because the receptacle was worn out. TV worked but only the Weather channel was available and no remote control was provided. Bathroom contained mold, rusty fixtures, drain pan in shower was rusted out and taped together and the bathroom was so small, you could sit on the toilet and was your hands at the same time as using the toilet! We paid $250.00 (plus) and would forfeited the money if other hotels would have rooms available but they were full because of Bridge Walk. Reported to County Health and Building Departments."

"I almost cancelled my reservation after reading some of the reviews but I’m so glad I didn’t. This place is an under rated gem. The beach and views are amazing. Honestly the best in town in my opinion. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly faces and made me feel like a friend not a guest. The staff there filled me in on all the good places to eat in town. Our room was charming. Walked right out to the beach with our own private fire pit. We also were able to score discounted tickets for the ferry to the island and the desk called a shuttle to pick us up. We made some amazing memories here and will definitely be back. Don’t let the other reviews deter you from selecting this place. Apparently people expect trump towers for a budget price. Definitely recommend"

"Whatever you do, do not stay here. First the hotel called us the day we were supposed to arrive saying they had overbooked and didn’t see a reservation and would have to put us in a room with a queen and fold out sofa instead of two queens. We reluctantly agreed. When we arrived, it was the middle of the night, and we had to check in a couple hotels down to receive our keys. When we got to our room, the sofa had no bedding, and there was no one to get a hold of to get blankets, pillows and sheets. The mattresses were stained and extremely dirty and didn’t even have mattress pad covers on them. They only provided two towels for four of us . We had to kill numerous bugs and spiders on the walls and the corners had spiderwebs in them. The bathroom had black mold in all the corners. The only reason we didn’t go somewhere else was it was the middle of the night. We got out of there as fast as we could in the morning. I would never recommend this place to anyone."

"I do not recommend and will never be back to any of their locations. Only way to describe this place is to compare it to a rent by the hour no tell motel, if you get my meaning. Floor was stained and not vacuumed. One bed was falling off the frame and the headboard was broken off the wall, there was only a plank of wood awkwardly screwed to the wall. The pillows had yellow stains on the covers and smelled. All the furniture was old, very warn and mismatched. Like the items were found on the side of the road. The bathroom was very small and had a stand up shower. No tub. The curtain rod was rusty and for some reason there were side things screwed on which were also rusty and those sides made it hard to enter the shower. There was urine left in the toilet for us and shampoo scum all over shower head and walls. The whole place was stuffy and smelled like mildew and the window ac unit did not work. There was a coffee pot with no cups or coffee. The lamp had a broken switch and did not work. A very dated picture hung sideways on the wall. The view was very nice but the beach front was littered with so much trash. Very sad to see that at one of the great lakes. I had prepaid thru a third party travel site and it was very late when I checked in. If it was not for those things I would have left. Only stayed one night. Cannot stress enough how horrible this was."
