"I had a highly disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were in an appalling state – both were covered in thick layers of dust and infested with unsightly spider webs. It was clear that cleanliness and maintenance were not a priority here. I expected a basic level of hygiene, but this fell far short of even the most minimal standards. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values a clean and comfortable environment."

"We were looking forward to using the whirl pool and it was so nasty you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. Had to have someone come and reset up the tvs. Love the style of the cabin but the shower leaked water on the floor and the bathroom sink has water under the cabinet. NO BUENO WE WILL NOT RETURN."

"I was hoping for a nice family weekend. Instead our stay was a nightmare! Do not stay here!!! Staff: Front desk staff is very rude! Office manger Victor was terrible - no customer service. Not helpful. After multiple incidents I asked for the managers manager- he wouldn’t provide any information saying the staff was outsourced. He gave me an 800 number and after calling 5 times I still haven’t gotten an answer and there is no machine. Reservation: I booked a handicap accessible cabin - they gave me a standard cabin. When I told them there was no way for me to get a wheelchair up the stairs they actually pushed back!! Our shower was ICE COLD!!! There was no hot water until 10pm on day 2 of our stay. After two days of the maintenance guy tracking dirt and mud into our cabin it was resolved but still not hot. The front desk manager, was not empathetic and argued about any help getting us access to hot water. He offered no resolution - no reasonable adjustment of our stay. Said he couldn’t give a discount because the credit card already ran at our checkin. Bathroom: in addition to having no hot water…The seal of the shower was not even glued to the floor and the wood was destroyed around it. The shower head was not even attached to the hose when we arrived. The sink faucet was also detached and sitting on the counter when we arrived. Cabin: The room itself was falling apart and filthy. Dead bugs and mounds of dust under all of the furniture and on the window sills. Hair in the fridge. Garbage all along the grass between the cabins. The beds were falling apart. The headboard on our bed was broken - every time I rolled over it made a loud bang. Our porch light was broken. Multiple bulbs in our cabin were out. There was a lamp right next to the sink and the cord was so long it was hard to keep it from getting wet. The battery in the smoke alarm was missing. Cockroaches: Cabin smelled like a morgue - bad chemicals. Later after finding a cockroach in our room we figured out it was problaly recent fogged for cockroaches. GROSS! I informed the manager of cockroach and showed him the photo. He said house keeping will be here in the morning - not phased at all. Water park: The water park was a safety hazard waiting to happen. It is falling apart and very worn. Water covers missing leaving big gaps on the floor. Kids netting torn with giant holes. My child hurt themselves because of the giant pipes under the netting. There is a shower pipe falling over with exposed sharp edges right in the middle of the pool area. The “guard” only got up to use the bathroom. I wouldn’t even consider her a lifeguard. She just sat there all day looking down at her phone. I was hoping for a nice family weekend. Instead our stay was a nightmare! Avoid this location! Do not stay here!!!"

"We were totally mislead. Thought I was booking a cabin. Instead it was room 104 by the pool. The bathroom was discussting with dirty floors and black mold everywhere. The air conditioner unit was very dusty. Carpet was stained and dirty as well as dust on TV unit. I do NOT recommend. Way overpriced!!"

"Was it the absolute best hotel? Nope, there were a few cosmetic things that needed to be worked on. However, our Chalet was cute and good enough for what we needed. We knew it wasn't going to be the fanciest place to stay because the cost was so reasonable. The bottom sheet wasn't fitted, but the mattress protector was cloth and fine. I did find a spider in the bath tub, which is typical if you have a cabin. Honestly, I'm used to tent camping and using vault toilets for the same price with bugs everywhere. If you're expecting 5 star quality for the price you pay, you're delusional. You can walk anywhere you want in Mack City. The front desk folks were helpful and kind. The water park was a hit for the kids, the indoor pool was kind of gross but the outdoor pool was nice. I'd stay here again, but would probably upgrade to a bigger cabin."
