"So let's get it out of the way. You get what you pay for. I spent a week at the Budget Inn which was reserved for me. It's not the newest or nicest hotel I've stayed in, but it was clean. The location and staff make up for the property's age. The whole staff team went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The best part was the view of the fireworks Sunday night. I will be back if I'm in the area again soon."

"Room just clean enough to stay! Soap scum in shower, dirty sock under bed skirt, and crumbs in the microwave. Clearly minimal cleaning between stays. Shower curtain had mildew/mold. Desk staff was very friendly. Location was good and price low...definitely a you get what you pay for place."

"Hot tub was only thing good about it. When we first came in the chairs had semen on them and had to have chairs removed. Shower was rusted, there were ants in the room, lamp shade was destroyed and easily could get electrocuted from the switch missing,pieces of pizza behind stand, stains on the floor. Front desk lady was VERY rude and raised her voice, Pain medication came up missing. Had a bad feeling cleaning person would take it because they acted very suspicious and went into our room jus to empty a tiny trash can, and left all the other medication except for the ones that could give you a high feeling."

"The staff was so nice, the room was CLEAN! Appliances worked, WIFI was good!! Air conditioning was immaculate, almost works too well!! The building looked to be remodeled inside of the rooms. No lingering smells in the room which was so nice! Wish we would have stayed here to begin with! Actual key to the room, no key cards so that was nice! We didn’t have to worry about being locked out of the room. (We went here after having spent a night at the Great Lakes Inn which was a complete FAIL.) GREAT service! Got free map of the city, got discount coupons for restaurants in the city AND got discounted coupons for taking the ferry to the island! The staff was so nice and helpful with any questions you have especially if you don’t have cellular service they were very helpful. There’s even a laptop in the lobby to help customers find what they are looking for."

"Clean, the beds are so comfortable and the manager is great!!! A short 4-5 minute drive to downtown. Off the main road and so quiet. I'd give 10 stars if possible! Terry (the manager) made our trip so much less stressful. Great to experience the kindness and helpfulness in these times!"
