"No issues with the room itself, but the staff was so rude and they serve expired/stale food at breakfast. We came to check in and then she picked up the phone while we were in the middle of talking to her. Then we just stood there waiting, normally no big deal, but I guess at some point she started to talk to us again while we thought she was still talking to the phone customer and she obnoxiously knocked on the plastic divider to get our attention. Mind you she did have the phone up to her ear the whole time. We got the keys and they don't work so we have to make the trip down to the lobby again. We only had to open our door three times and two out of three times it had to be reprogrammed. So we were running back and forth to the lobby. All of the yogurt at the breakfast was over a week expired, some were weeks. I would not recommend staying here."

"It was worth every bit of the price. You get what you pay for. The employees were nice. The Hotel needs a deep cleaning especially the Pool house windows screens walls. Just a good washing would spruce it up more."

"We planned a trip to stay here with our 3 young children before school starts. Upon arrival, the entire building had a strong mold smell. After checking in, we walked into the doors to the building of our hotel and there’s was dirt all over. Keypads did not work correctly and I had to try it several times before working. After getting to our room, we walked into a very dirty room and the vent near the floor was open and disgusting. A huge safety concern for our youngest. Immediately I took our family of 5 to the front desk to ask for a refund in which they said they could not do. We ended up checking out and going elsewhere. I would never recommend this for anyone to stay at. A huge disappointment and I will be contacting the BBB."

"Looks great from the outside but definitely outdated on the inside. The lighting placement is odd (makes it feel like you are staying in a dungeon), carpet is tore up, there is a random heat light in the bathroom with the normal fan light??, and the pool is just down right horrible looking with pool floor epoxy missing and electrical taped pipe going into the pool??. The hotel was alright for our short two day trip but I wouldn’t recommend staying there with the better options around."

"Great location but the hotel is pretty rundown. Our room was clean, front desk couple was great. Overall pretty good for a night near mackinaw but they double charged me (this seems to be a common theme according to others). I STILL have yet to see my deposit back. They charged me two deposits and when I complained they said they don't know why it keeps happening but I would get them back. Well one was a separate deposit fee and got returned. The second one they added into the actual room price and I have yet to get that back still. It's been a fight to even get anyone to give me the same answer when I call and understand I was overcharged! I'll be disputing with my cc next because I have a feeling I'll never see it and many others have stated the same on here. So beware if you're booking direct through this hotel!! You're probably better off booking through an app so this doesn't happen to you."
