"This place is disgusting and management does not care about it as you can see from past reviews. Immediately defensive and placed blame on us - terrible customer service when you immediately get defensive. Our dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, beds were gross, a weed pen left behind in the room, and dust everywhere, and our water never got warm. They would not give any refund but offered to get cold water issue fixed and clean better. We came back that night still with no warm water and they did not even attempt to reach out to us about it. After reading about the bed bugs I am not even comfortable staying here. It is appalling that they won’t give refunds when their policy does state you should be able to if things are not as advertised. It says in their site the rooms are CLEAN. What a joke. Do not stay here ever."

"The worst!! If I could give less than 1 star I would!! We stayed in 440 the “cabin”. We got in late the first night checked in, went out then came back really late. When we got back to the room we noticed there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher with no dish soap to even clean them. An outdated coffee pot with no coffee. One roll of toilet paper that was almost gone (we had 4 people there). Pulled the pull out out bed out and no sheets/blankets, also had a huge nasty stain on the mattress. The other beds in the bedrooms were gross, dirty and almost like crumbs on them. In the bathroom there was what looked like poop on the wall behind the toilet. A dirty wash cloth under the sink. A vape pen left on the floor. The place was just disgusting. To add icing to the cake one of my kids took a shower in the morning only to notice there was no hot water!!! Went to complain at the hotel next door, the manager there was so defensive and made it seem like it was OUR fault for not telling them last night…..no one was there, how could we. He told us the water would be fixed when we got back to the room after we went to the island for the day. We got back and no, no hot water, but the pull out bed was made, dishes were gone from the dishwasher, looked like they vacuumed and maybe sprayed some nice smelling spray. We checked out right then since there was still now hot water. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. Will not go to any of the hotels owned by these people ( look up their info, they own a lot of hotels in Mackinaw City) they have multiple cases against them for not being clean and truthful about what they show/post. I would love to leave pictures but can’t find a way to load them on here."

"We checked in late at night and went out right away after dropping stuff off in the room. We got back and looked around and noticed there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no hot water, a vape pen on the floor, no sheets or blankets for the pull out bed. The overall "cabin" was very dirty and outdated. When we went to the front desk to request a refund the manager was extremely rude and basically said it was our fault for not telling someone about the state of the room even though we got back at three in the morning (when nobody was at the desk). He said there were no refunds and no other cabins available for us to be moved to. Terrible service, and terrible quality overall. Nothing they promised on the website was what we found upon arrival. Don't book here unless you want to be blamed for their awful customer service and disgusting rooms."

"I stayed in the recently remodeled blue building. I love the wood paneling in the room. My room was missing a screen door for my balcony and I did bring it to their attention. Not a huge deal. Bed was semi comfy. I absolutely love the view from the beach!"
