"I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don’t want you to put anything up and I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down ."

"We stayed here in September 2023. Pretty campground. Our site was nice and level enough. Great service. The younger guy that led us to our site, made sure we were good. And the next day when we were waiting for a shuttle to the ferry, he saw us and gave us their number. Then later that day, he remembered us from the morning and asked if we ended up reaching the company with the shuttle. We were impressed. All in all we really liked our stay here and would definitely recommend it."

"This is a perfect place to stay if you want to take your bike to Mackinak Island. There is a trail at the back of the park and it is an easy 10 minute ride to the ferry. You can buy your tickets and bike pass here too. Also easy bike ride to many restaurants Staff is friendly and helpful. (Nolan!!) Convenient and clean laundry. Campground is well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it!"

"We stayed with our camper. The service was EXCELLENT, staff was customer service oriented and very knowledgeable...they even jumped our truck when it wouldn't start! The trash was picked up at our sight each day and if we requested wood they would deliver it for us! And the facilities were spotless, cleaned EVERY morning! I gave an overall 3 star because it is like any other KOA...if you didn't pay for a deluxe site, they were small and bordered by sand."

"This is the very best KOA we have spend time in! Communication was great, check in process was friendly and efficient! Attention to detail in every aspect of their services to their guests! It is a nicely laid out campground with good clearance for big rigs. And let me say again…communication is great! We received a text to welcome us, one to remind us they were closing each evening to see if we needed anything and a good morning text on the day of departure with check out info. When we responded to the evening texts they delivered wood to our site and charged to our account. Recycling and trash pickup available also for convenience. I cannot speak to the play area or pool as we did not use them, but they both looked clean and inviting. This is close to all the action of Mackinaw but in an out in the woods feel where it is quiet and relaxing. We will stop here again & would definitely recommend to others! Safe travels….."
