"Gorgeous views of the Mackinaw bridge! I have pictures of my 7yo here when he was a toddler running through the sand. Now my 19mo old gets to enjoy the same park. There's swimming allowed here, but there's also a sign posted to swim at your own risk. My 7yo was so excited, however, we didn't know thr rocks would be so sharp! Due to the sharp rocks and no water shoes, he was only able to go out to his knees and just sat down in the water in his desperate attempt to swim. I felt bad for him, I remember the excitement of wanting to swim at a beach! Overall it was still fun. Plenty of shady spots and benches to sit."

"Loved the different views of the bridge! You can get pretty close to under it, and her the cars go over. The water is extremely blue, but more on the dirty side. Great spot for an afternoon picnic, swim, or stroll."
