"Called on a Monday over an issue we had at one of the hotels in Mackinaw City. Lady took all my information and what happened. Three days had passed so I tried calling back. Everyone was at lunch so I waited until 3 and called back. Lady that answered the phone got very snippy and said still no one has returned from lunch break... Been a week and still no response. We stayed at Bayside there in Mackinaw. When we got to our room the door was open which we were Leary about going in. There was no bedding on one of the beds and just a sheet on the other that appeared someone had rolled around in. Then in the bathroom there was a huge puddle of coffee on the countertop, no towels, garbage everywhere on the floor, hair in the shower, called the front desk and the guy wanted us to come get our bedding from the front desk. We had to make our own bedding which had urine stains. The guy working that night told us to address it with the front desk in the morning. What a mistake, the guy told me he could do nothing that I needed to contact the chamber of commerce but they knew nothing .they told me I needed to contact the tourist bureau. I ended up calling back to the hotel and got the guy who told me to contact the chamber of commerce, he told me the issue needed to be addressed at checkout, OMG SERIOUSLY IT WAS AND HE TOLD US AT CHECKOUT HE COULD DO NOTHING. The chamber of commerce told me to contact the BBB OR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I TOLD HIM THIS AND HE GOT SNOTTY AND YELLED AT ME AND SAID DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AND HUNG UP ON ME. WOW WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disgusted with how everyone keeps pushing this issue off to someone else. We do plan on contacting the BBB."
