"I dealt with Bay Area Appliance company at Largo location last year. I bought a used appliance and I wanted to return it after 2 days only. I called the business on Monday before their closing time and no one picked up the phone and I was not able to leave a message. Then, I called them 2 days later during their business hours and the phone just rang and I was not able to leave a message one more time. Their crooked phone system is setup, so that you cannot leave a phone message at all and therefore no one will call you back! Their policy is that after 4 days you cannot return an appliance without being charged 20% of the purchase price. I asked the sales guy when I called 2 times, why I was not able to leave a phone message, so that they can call me back within the 4 days-return window. He did not have any explanation and wanted only to exchange the appliance I bought, which is not what I wanted. I will not use this store again for any business, because of their unwillingness to let me return the appliance within the 4-day window. They charged me 20% of the purchase price in the end. I will not use this business again!"

"I called these guys out to tell me what was wrong with my fridge. They came out in good timing, that's not my complaint. They told me it would cost $320 to fix but would not tell me what was wrong with it until I paid the service charge (which was supposedly going to come off the price to fix). I asked for an invoice to pay the service charge and he told me no & claimed they would stay at my house until the fee was paid. I told him I'd pay the fee once I received an invoice. Maybe they didn't want me to look up the price of the part or something but either way, very unprofessional and kind of sketchy."
