Sunbrite Apartments

"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! This place is filthy. When i moved in, every inch of that apartment had to be cleaned upon arrival. There were problems with bugs and roaches. The circulation of air in the apartment was terrible and because of it, if you did not kee your air conditioning unit on at all times, your entire apartment would start to mold. I came back from being out of town for a week and when i first walked into my apartment from being back, the apartment smelled like mold, there was mold forming on my shoes and hats that i ended up having to throw out. Furthermore, the key system is a nightmare. You need to swipe a card to get into your apartment everytime. There is no physical key that they give you and the cards always malfunction with the card reader at the door. When this happens, you have to walk all the way over to the leasing office to get new apartment card keys. Not to mention the leasing office is about a 20-30 minute walk from the apartment complex itself so if you left your car keys inside your apartment and cant get in, then you’re making that long walk over to the leasing office. I could go on and on about the problems and overall filth of this apartment complex. Just please dont live here, you will regret it. The only good thing about this is the location and the fact that washington ave and the beach are only blocks away. But at that point, is it really worth it??"

"I came here a few years ago in May of 2011 for my honey moon. Me and my wife stayed for a week. We absolutely loved it !!! The hospitality was awesome, the other residents who were staying were so friendly, not to mention how beautiful it looked soon as u walked through the main gate and our room, omg my wife immediately fell in love, especially with the bed lol. I think we payed (then) like a little over $500 for the whole week which was reasonably priced compared to other places we looked and we were conveniently located within walking distance from all the South Beach hot spots !!! Another South Beach trip is well over due so I look forward to seeing you guys in March. Thanks for the memories !!"

"Quite sharp decor, nice landscaping, fresh, hip style/modern, clean, decent locale, accomodations, size, etc. as w/all So.BeachGroup properties... Transferred over here for wknd since prices increased at beachside locations; few blocks further but quieter residential style w/more amenities as well :-T"

"Loved the room and the manager was very accommodating But Alberto(shuttle driver) needs a lesson on providing customer service. He chestized us about having reservations for the free shuttle, when I explained that I made them before we arrived. I felt like he was seconds from kicking us off the shuttle so I showed him my email and his attitude did not change. I left Miami with a sour taste in mouth he ruined my impression and I felt totally unwelcomed. Sad because I was happy until I met him."

"I absolutely Loved it. NO it is not a 5 star hotel but it was a really great place to stay. Its located at 13th and Pennsylvania ave., which is a good location if you want to go to the party, at not live in the the party its quiet and the staff and management were very friendly and professional I went for my bday weekend and had a damn blast. I arrived early, before check-in time, and they are strict on that check in time, but they were very accommodating and offered to put my luggage in my room while I participated in a little tourism. It was very clean, and it stayed that way fresh towels, bed made and when I pulled back the shower curtain which I loved, their were C.O bigelow products that out find in Bath an Body works which is rare for any hotel,. when I walked in the room there was a really cool beach/shopping bag on the round table top which came in handy when going to the beach. The kitchen came fully equipped with dishes, metal cutlery, dish-washing liquid and a sponge (new). the best thing is that the bike rental rack is located directly to the right of the front gate which is all you need to get around south beach its about a 3 minute bike ride from the beach or a ten minute walk. There wasn't a continental breakfast but they keep cold water with orange slices in it and packaged cold towels to refresh you which were lovely because it was as hot as a frying pan in September."
