"Be careful renting from these people. The day we moved in our neighbors were moving out. They were charged $8000.00 for damages that clearly wasn't $8000.00 worth of damages. We moved out last month a month earlier than our lease was. They went ahead an charged us 2500.00 for the last month plus another 2400.00 in damages that clearly wasn't that much as well. In all we owe this place almost 5000.00 in all which has me livid! They will be hearing from my lawyer I promise!!!! YALL ARE SCAMERS SO BE CAREFUL"

"The staff is friendly, always willing to help even with a little extra here and there especially the maintenance guys. As a former maintenance man myself , I can assure you these guys are definitely some of the best I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting."

"Apartments are old and when something breaks they just replace it with old parts from other apartments that they’ve got in their shed by the office. I had to literally argue with the leasing manager to get a new toilet put in my apartment. But they charge well over 2000 for an old apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You pay top dollar but get old appliances. And then you move out and clean the apartment and they email you saying you left it damaged and dirty so you owe them money! Excuse me, I CLEANED THE APARTMENT TO AVOID THESE BOGUS CHARGES. But, I took video of how I left that place spotless, so we’ll see. The manager is confrontational at best, and they will nickel and dime you as much as they can. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the office assistant and maintenance men are super friendly, and it’s a well maintained community. Other than that, terrible practices, overpriced, and old apartments."

"This complex is a great place to live. The community in general is pretty cool and friendly. The maintenance staff does respond to service calls immediately. The office staff does try to keep you up to date with updates, changes and other things. I really haven't had any issues except something that occurred with a staff and my minor son. I was able to talk to the manager which was very understanding and was able to resolve it. There is no place that is perfect to live but I choose to remain in this community because everything they mention on their website describing this community exist here which is very hard to find. "We recently moved in to Avery Place Villas. I first would like to commend Madeline for her excellent professional yet polite and welcoming customer service in getting through the rental process. Upon moving in we had few issues with the A/C unit, the maintenance workers have always responded promptly and politely. I have spoken to them and pleased with their customer service. So I’m sending a shout out to Alex, the maintenance supervisor and to Modesto and another worker that have provided excellent service. So far I’m a pleased tenant. I must mention the grounds are so well kept."
