Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando

"Our stay at Portofino Bay Hotel was great!! We had a hard time with parking when we arrived, but then it was smooth sailing. The Starbucks on site was fast and friendly. Mama Della's Resturant had amazing food with a great atmosphere. The beach pool was so much fun and the pool side drinks were a nice adult treat. The water Taxi added to our experience and the unlimited express made our trip so much better. We were able to ride everything without stressing about fitting everything in. Great Vacation!!"

"It's a beautiful resort. The water taxi is wonderful, and pulling up into the harbor on the boat is a fantastic experience. We booked a Harbor View room during the ongoing refurbishment. We saw notices about the refurbishment, but we were never told that our window would be completely blocked by tarp, removing all views of anything outside. It would have been more professional to let us know that ahead of time so that we could have asked for a different room, or moved our reservation to a different on-site resort. Portofino is a very quiet resort without a whole lot of activity, but it is very calming and wonderfully themed."

"Love this place. My family has stayed here 3 times. Great service every time. Express pass at both parks with your key card. We do club level and get bottle water and soda and breakfast and lite dinner and happy hour from 5 to 7. We take the superstar shuttle from the airport so we don't have to rent a car. Keep up the great work."

"Everything about this hotel was perfect! We stayed at Club level and appreciated the sodas, water, and coffee that was readily available. We took advantage of the close proximity to Universal parks and walked there or took the boat. It reminded us of Yacht Club at Disney. What really stood out was the friendly service! At this hotel and the parks service was fast and friendly. We appreciated the adult Villa pool as we weren't traveling with children. The beach pool for children was wonderful too! "Love the secluded location. The water taxi ride to the front gate, express passes, and easy security experience is phenomenal. The rooms are clean. Upgraded to the club level which includes breakfast, snack, dinner, dessert, and beer/wine. We didn't use it every time since we were at the park, but I'm glad it was available when we did. The bigger room was nice. I loved being able to get reservations and ask questions via text. The staff was wonderful."
