"Thank you Charlene and Eduardo! I love the location and my apartment has the most incredible patio and high ceilings.. my building has a wonderful parking lot where I always find parking… but to be honest- before Charlene and Eduardo took over- I felt like things were getting worse here.. especially in regards to response time and maintenance requests.. But thank goodness things are on the UP! Yes, this is an older place with older appliances… but they are replacing them and updating everything they can now. They even completely changed the cleaning crew for when you move in (which was seriously needed) Thank you Charlene for really staying on top of everything. You and Eduardo are so greatly appreciated! Huge shout out to the maintenance crew, as well. This has been a huge turn around for the Majestic. It’s a beautiful location - so to be able to have a good management and maintenance crew makes a HUGE difference. Definitely plan on renewing my lease now. Thank you!! I also want to update this review since Luis has become a part of our maintenance crew! Alberto and Miguel have always been so great and friendly and now with Luis .. it’s a dream !! Luis calls to give you a heads up and does the job GREAT the first time. He goes above and beyond and I truly appreciate having him with us here at the Majestic! Yay! A beautiful place to live and a wonderful team to help make it everything you need it to be : )"

"Overall great experience. I recommend an apartment on the main strip if available. Noise from the bars on Fridays were sometimes unbearable, trash compactor was out of service, and occasional elevator issues but overall the events and community were well worth the amount."
"Overall is a good place to live because Baldwin Park is a nice area but will say they make it seem like these are luxury apartments and they’re not. The “1 bedroom” plan I lived in (not the studio) had partial walls built around the bedroom and no doors. Everything in the apartment looked kinda old and worn down. The jets in the bathtub let out black gunk every time I tried to use them. The garbage disposal in the sink didn’t work properly. Chronic issue with ants while I lived there. Maintenance tried to fix these issues but weren’t able to. The assistant manager changed 3 times in the year I lived there. They also raised the rent by almost 300 dollars after a year which is insane, the place is just getting older and crappier. The elevator broke often while I was living there. Management is responsive when they want you to sign on but not so much when you actually have issues. I’d say overall I had an ok experience with management but definitely had to follow up several times for issues to be addressed during my stay. I’ve been waiting on my security deposit back (they said they would send the check in the mail and I’d receive it within 4-5 weeks) for almost 3 months now after my move out date and the Edwin, the manager has just completely disappeared and not responding to any of my emails. A shame to see the lack of accountability."
"Living here has been a complete nightmare and I would strongly urge anyone from moving here. We moved here in November of 2022 and since then it’s been one issue after another. The apartment we moved into was disturbingly dirty, with hair and filth coating the bathrooms, washing machine, baseboards, drawers, etc. Not only was it dirty, but there were many things that were broken and completely looked over, such as broken kitchen drawers that were taped in place, broken patio door, leaking shower that flooded the downstairs neighbor’s apartment, the list goes on. The apartment was also very poorly painted, with random paint splattered all over doorknobs, baseboards, doors, etc. and even spots with hair painted into the walls. All of this was very upsetting considering the leasing office practically rushed us into taking possession of this apartment, when truthfully it could’ve used another day for cleaning and painting. Trying to get all these issues addressed was like pulling teeth and the leasing office made it very clear that they could care less, specifically Edwin the community manager. After all of this was finally handled, we then started having issues with our downstairs neighbors playing very loud music for hours on end. I work from home, so this was very bothersome. I contacted the office numerous times about it and nothing was ever done about it. I felt like the office really didn’t care and practically defended the downstairs neighbors for playing loud music all day. Turns out one of the maintenance techs lives downstairs, which makes sense why the office continually dismissed my complaints. I ended up having an extremely unpleasant interaction with the downstairs neighbor when I asked him to please turn his music down one day. I contacted the office about what happened and to no surprise, my email was left with no response for weeks. I even contacted the management company but apparently they don’t respond to emails either. When I finally got ahold of the office, Edwin claimed my email went to spam. How convenient. Now, here we are three weeks without a working dryer and almost a week without electricity in our guest bedroom. We’ve put work orders in asking for updates but received no response, called the office but no answer, and even walked down to the office just to find a locked office door. I tried calling the emergency maintenance line, but of course no answer and their inbox is full so you can’t even leave a voicemail which is a huge liability. When I finally got ahold of someone, Edwin finally gave us an update on the dryer and electrical issue and claimed that they’ve been understaffed. Everything with this place always has some sort of excuse and truthfully, I am fed up with it. Edwin the community manager is extremely unprofessional, rude, and takes zero accountability for anything. The only positive experience we’ve had here has been with Amy, the leasing agent. It's very unfortunate because this place is in such a great location, however for the price you’re better off spending your money elsewhere."
