"Hey all, current resident here. Thought I should let anyone thinking of moving here that the AC at the gym has been out for nearly 3 weeks now with no end in sight. I even nicely asked to have a sign put on the door so that I don’t waste my time repeatedly checking inside and have been ignored. Don’t expect any of your complaints to be taken seriously."

"I found a hidden gem smack dab in the middle of it all! Discovery Palms is a small, friendly, and diverse community of young families, professionals and our most valued members of the community, our pets! There is a pet friendly, community vibe here where people are friendly to one another and respect each other's property and privacy. We have both renters and owners here at Discovery Palms which creates a little different sense of community than some other places I've lived. There's a great management team of responsive professionals, and the maintenance team is first rate! We also have some great amenities like a beautiful pool, fitness center, package room, and even on property security! I definitely recommend this property even though I want to keep it all to myself! "I have been living here for 7 years and love it. The office ladies are absolutely wonderful and so efficient with any problems I have. The staff are always very friendly and resolve issues in a very professional and timely manner. They have been very efficient in keeping everyone updated on changes happening in the complex, and keeping the resident safe whether hurricanes or simply checking on fire extinguishers. This gated community is a place that I have always felt safe living at. I have and will continue to recommend this complex to anyone looking due to the wonderful staff and safe community. 10/10 would recommend."

"I moved into these apartments in the beginning of April 2018 and had nothing but issue after issue with this apartment. Later I found out the girl who lived there before me had the EXACT same problems, so apparently they just put bandaids on things rather than fix them. We had the bath tub faucet leak, the pipes under the sink needed cleaned out by a plumber because the people upstairs dumped grease down the sink, the fridgerator was broken from the day we moved in on a Thursday to a Tuesday, the shower faucet was leaking, the air conditioner condensation line backing up and dripping water into the apartment, my washer broke because they painted the inside of the drum and it started chipping off. I called at NOON because my air conditioner wasn’t working in the 99 degree heat and they come check it out and at 230 called their contractor to come look at it and he says it’s too late in the day so they’re going to put a portable window unit in my family room until he can come out THE NEXT DAY. Our air conditioner made a drumming noise every once in awhile and they would have to come use a vacuum to suck the condensation out. They also told us to put vinegar down the little valve once a month. When I called because the sink was backed up I was told it wasn’t an emergency and I could use the other side of the sink. The management is a joke, if you babysit anyone’s pets, be ready to get a phone call and be told your not allowed to have anyone’s pets over. And then you pay pet rent every month so at the end when you move out they can charge you $120 extra because the carpet needs cleaned. I had our apartment professionally cleaned before moving out so I know that’s BS. The only positive was Rey the maintenance guy and Denise in the office. The rent is ridiculous for the type of apartment you get. When you go to the pool be ready for cigarette butts and people playing annoying music out loud for everyone to hear. The pool is also never cleaned and not heated. The gate breaks all the time and it takes forever to get fixed, so while the gate is broken there is no parking because people park wherever. If you live below someone be prepared to hear every single noise. Them walking, them opening their drawers and cabinets, their pets running, them peeing in their toilet. The walls are paper thin. My advice is don’t waste your money. I will never rent from this management company again."
