"My first impression of the Apex, prior to moving in was: "Great looking new apartment facility with some cool areas to hang out and modern features"... BUT after moving in I discovered that Apex is still under construction and not all of the amenities that were sold to us prior to moving in function as described... my expectations are still not met... This is NOT a gated community as the gates are always wide open because they do not function properly. There is construction dust everywhere, especially in the stairs areas hand rails. General cleanliness is also poor and I find the staff having hard time to keep everything clean and looking as new. Very often spills, stains and dirt in the building lobby and in front of elevator stay there for a week before they are noticed and cleaned up, there are spider webs everywhere on the exterior of our building, especially around the exterior lights and building entrance door keypads. To get to the Apex one has to go through some rough, low income neighborhoods, that are unsafe and there is a landfill located about 3 miles Southeast. So far I am not willing to sign a new lease when this one expires but hoping for improvement that would change my mind as I am not a big fan of moving. For the last 9 weeks that I have lived there I have experienced A LOT of issues that I had to constantly follow up on as they were not resolved without a follow up from myself and micro-managing the staff (which I DO NOT enjoy) to ensure that the issues WERE resolved. I am a very busy man and this is a huge inconvenience for myself and it also creates mistrust with the staff. The appeal of living in an apartment community was that I will not have to deal with such issues but I find myself unwillingly engaged with them and my precious time is consumed by those problems... Some of the issues experienced in the past 9 weeks of residence in the Apex: 1. The coffee machine in the coffee bar keeps being locked for cleaning when I have tried to use it in the morning 2. The garage we rented was infested with spiders, both the interior (garage corners and ceiling) and exterior (over the garage door) and it took WEEKS to have it cleaned/treated and the exterior cleared of spider webs and dead insects that were caught in there. Apparently their service tech was cleaning the wrong garage despite of me giving the correct garage # on the service request. 3. My building entrance door to the lobby where the elevators are is not locking, this was never resolved and they are still unlocked for everyone to enter as they please 4. The entrance gates are always wide open and never closed. When I did find them closed (two times since I have lived there) I could not exit because the exit doors sensors could not detect my vehicle, I opened a service ticket, demonstrated the issue before an Apex office staff IN PERSON and the service ticket was marked as "resolved" shortly after with no explanation on the ticket, this issue is still persisting and Nathan advised that this is a construction issue and the service tickets are only for the apartment itself. Nathan is working to resolve the issue with construction, unfortunately there is no way to track the progress and there is no timeline provided on when it will be resolved. 5. The garage door has a keypad to enter a code to open it, Apex staff advised that they are not working and will not be activated but when we saw our neighbor using theirs we were able to program ours and they are indeed working. I will be updating this review in the future as I track the progress of the issues and their resolutions, and it will be up to Apex if the stars or comments will be positive or negative"

"Nice grounds, staff pretty nice, dog friendly and the owners are pretty respectful of space when walking dogs, beautiful pool, hopefully the salt water is a good thing. I've never tried that type of pool yet. "SMART Technology" isn't very smart, it's always something off or not working. Nothing extraordinary, moreso an annoyance than an asset. Took awhile for the Internet to stop buffering regularly it's fine now, but it's JUST adequate for normal use. Spoke to soon about the internet. It's a bit disappointing that they don't have 24 hour access to the club house for lounging like some other luxury apartments...also, a HUGE miss is the fact that they don't have recycle bins in a luxury apartment complex, that's really basic and we're paying for service and it's generally included with a bin for recycling! All of the places I've stayed at they had recycling bins to help the environment and they were cheaper! I actually would give them a 2, bc of this but the managers/staff are pretty nice ppl. Finally, it's a bit pricey for the neighborhood. The drive in/out of the neighborhood isn't the most pleasant going through the surrounding neighborhoods."

"My husband and I are so happy we chose Apex!! We enjoy all of the amenities they have to offer, the staff are very friendly and they keep the property nice and tidy. Management/maintenance always responds in a timely manner to any service requests or concerns we've had. We enjoy calling Apex our home! ❤️"

"My first experience here was being greeted by Tateyana and she was such a pleasure to work with through the leasing process. I moved here about two months ago, the office staff and maintenance have been very attentive to requests. The gym is nice and the pool area is a vibe, waiting for warm weather to fully enjoy."
