They don’t have anything up to code they make you pay huge down payments and then when you asked him to fix things that are broken they try to lie to you. When you show them proof they kick you out. They are the biggest lion slumlord scandals I’ve ever seen in my life do not rent from them."

"I just purchased the home I have been leasing the past 2 years. I could not be happier! I've read reviews and all I can say is this: I went into this knowing I wanted to purchase. Before I signed anything, Dave granted my wish of removing existing carpet and replace with laminate. He changed the locks for me and fixed a door for me. He offered to have the interior repainted. I declined. I did my own painting out of my own pocket. You are informed upfront what your expectations are. You are responsible for the upkeep, repairs etc. You are informed upfront about paying ON TIME. You are informed upfront that you can do improvements like paint etc but it's on your dime. Remember you are leasing to own, not renting. There were no surprises. Yes, life gets in the way however, you still have to honor your part of the contract. The 2 rules to the road to ownership:#1. Pay on time #2. Take care of the place. I did. My Lease to Own contract was honored for the amount of my house in my contract. My deed will be here in 4-6 weeks. I paid my closing costs, I paid my for home inspection for home owner's insurance and I paid for my home owner's insurance. I knew I was responsible for these expenses because they were upfront and informed me of this prior to signing anything from the very beginning . Thank you, Dave for this opportunity! "Let me first say Dave is a stand-up guy. When I came to Dave 20 months ago it was in the middle of the pandemic. I needed a house I couldn't rent one to be honest because of background checks and some past history. I was honest with Dave about it and he put me in a two-year lease to purchase. They gave me everything in writing in black and white that I had to sign for and initial. I abided by our lease to purchase agreement for 20 months went to the bank got a loan to buy the property. Dave abided our lease to purchase contract no matter that the housing market went crazy since I locked into this house 20 months ago and he was going to lose about $30,000 on it. He was gracious and even helped me to understand all the final closing documents before we went to closing. He even had to write me a check because of our lease agreement.
