Residence Inn by Marriott Ocala 3610 Southwest 38th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474

"If I’d have wanted to listen to semi engines all night when trying to sleep, I would have pulled into a semi trailer parking lot n saved quite a few bucks. Instead we took a room at the Marriott Residence Inn where a semi ran its engine all night 25 yds from the room window. When we complained, the manager said he knew nothing about such a problem. We contacted other folks in rooms on the same side of the building who had complained as well. Even when we called the Marriott 24/7 complaint line, we were told nothing could be done about it. How about letting customers know of the ongoing problem since the management was aware of the issue? Apparently it’s a regular parking place for semi’s to overnight next to the hotel. Not at all your normal Marriott service. Will not only NOT recommend but will direct others to stay away. This is close to the equestrian center so I will pass the word throughout the community."

"We had to walk up a flight of stairs since the elevator was out of service. I could overlook that if everything else had been excellent. The room was clean, but the bed was terribly uncomfortable. It dipped so much in the center that we kept rolling into each other all night. Cannot recommend this hotel."

"We always try to stay at Residence Inns by Marriott when we can. The rooms are junior suites and competitively priced, maybe a few dollars higher than a typical hotel room. We were in Ocala to visit the World Equestrian Center, which is wonderful. Did not take any photos of the inn but here is one of the Equestrian Center."

"Checked in late on a Monday for a three night stay. Elevator down and put on second floor. Dragged suitcase to top of stairs only to check in a room with fridge in middle of kitchen. Called for new room and moved to third floor. Sent a maintenance person to bring key and carry my bag however her could barely make it up stairs himself. I was not going to ask him to carry my bag. Elevator down all week and tired my bag back down stairs. It was miserable. At checkout, very rude front desk person. Not the Marriott I am use to being at."

"The rooms are incredibly comfortable for a longer stay. Mini kitchen with a full size fridge. Beds are comfortable and the AC works. Employees are awesome and will go above and beyond to try to help resolve any issues as personally experienced in my last stay. This is my go to hotel when I stay in Ocala."
