"Spent over 14 days at this location. The staff was awesome and professional. Rooms cleaned daily. No bugs. No loitering allowed. I felt safe at all times."

"Competent, patient, and polite staff. A little expensive. The rooms were lacking in lighting options (no bedside lamp, just bright lights on the ceiling, so it was either really dark or really bright) but the AC worked well and they were clean."

"My fiance and I had to book a last-minute trip to Ocala to visit a family member in the hospital. I really wished I had read the reviews prior to booking at the Red Roof Inn. We booked a room with a king-size bed, and as we arrived at our room, it smelled like an ash tray. Driving from Miami to Ocala, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. I called the front desk to request a different room, I was not going to stay in a room that smelled like cigarettes with my 5 month old baby. Fortunately, they only had 1 room left with 2 queen beds and kindly moved us. The second room smelled better. Overall, the rooms are ok, the beds were not comfortable... The bathroom had mold in the shower and the sink. There was a used toilet paper roll in the bathroom and hairs on the toilet seat. We even found a dead roach on the floor by the mini fridge. I lysoled the whole room and bathroom myself. Also, breakfast is not offered anymore. But the staff was nice and friendly. Unfortunately, this is our fiest and last time, I will stay at the Red Roof Inn."

"Great place to stay if your just looking for a room to sleep in at a low cost. My family and I spent the night here after a Gator game and it was perfect for what we needed. Front Desk staff was helpful in letting us know that the hot and cold water were opposite of what is indicated, as well as door handles may work in the opposite direction. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, my only dissatisfaction was the comfort of the matresses, when we laid on them, the springs decompressed significantly and therefore wasn't very comfortable. Other than the condition of the mattress, we had no issues with our stay."
