"This place SUCKS! Parking is a nightmare if you choose to park in front of the hotel and pay the $29.00 using your phone and leave your spot will be taken and then you have to park two blocks away for $12 more! The front desk is on the second floor but you have to wait 10-20 minutes for the only working elevator! Then when you get to the desk and the young lady didn't know how the parking worked said she would put it on my room bill. I found out just in time that you had to pay on your phone before my car was towed. I can't believe Hilton allows their name on this kind of disaster of a hotel. I will never be back and recommend everyone else check twice before you stay here!!!! I paid extra for a balcony view, not worth it. I can see trees at my house. This new elevator floor is cracked and broken."
"In summary - This was more like a motel 6..... Will never stay here again. Will never recommend it to anyone. I live just outside of Ocala and decided to stay at the downtown location. I travel a lot throughout the state and always stay in Hilton locations for convenience and comfort. I was completely shocked that this was the worst Hilton experience!! The lobby was on the second floor, along with the Bar, to which everyone was flooding the elevators beyond it's capacity (two elevators total, only one functional). It took the poor elevator over 10 minutes to get to us, as there were at least 20 drunk people on board shaking the elevator about before exiting out. It looked like a clown car scene. We got to our room, and it was not any better - We had room 528 with a balcony - the balcony door handle was broken - the handle was completely off! Our neighbor could have easily climbed over the spaced-out metal fencing (absolutely no privacy) and enter our room. The bathroom door handle was also broken, you couldn't even try to close the door. The toilet paper roll was hanging off the wall with double sided tape. This is petty lol but I wasn't offered my diamond member free waters and it wasn't in my room, the staff was so rude but it was probably from dealing with all the drunkards, so I honestly didn't want to bug them more. We did expect it be be a noisy stay, we were prepared for that - but for visitors coming from out of town who have no idea would be sorely disappointed with lack of sleep from the loud street music. Summary again: will never stay here again, will never recommend to others."
"The hotel itself was pretty nice. I will be staying again if in the area. It is a bit loud on the weekends due to the downtown traffic and the bar. (They provide foam earplugs) I knew what I was getting into so that didn't bother me. The 1 (slow) elevator was kind of ignoring."
"We've stayed at this hotel numerous times, and we just spent the last two days there. The view of the downtown square is incredible, especially with the Christmas lights. The location is perfect for shopping at local small businesses. When we checked in, Alexandra greeted us warmly. She was friendly and fun. The outdoor seating and interior decor create a fantastic, upbeat, and relaxing atmosphere. We're planning to return in December to visit family again!"
"Recently i booked a room with this hotel for my parents, my mother asked me to never reserve a room there again. Starting with how thin the walls are, as i approached their room i could hear their entire conversation. Once i was in the room i immediately noticed a strange odor, which i find weird because this hotel is relatively new. Anyways my mother mentioned how the AC was leaking and the carpet was wet. My parents were attending a funeral so i went to the front desk to complain and that lady was very accommodating she exchanged the rooms out for another with no issue at all. However, she did not mention that the room would cost more considering its no one’s fault that there AC was working to be additionally charged. Anyway. My parents get back to the hotel but i was not able to reconnect with them to give them the new keys so they went to the front desk and IVAN was working at this time. Instead of giving my mother the keys to the new room he interrogated her on why her room had to be switched to begin with, when the other staff gave me no issue at all. This was completely unacceptable. Additionally, this place charges 19 dollars for a breakfast buffet i guess you can call it to which i heard the fruit was not fresh and the eggs were rubbery (a total rip off) and to top it off only one elevator worked for a hotel with 5 floors. I do like the balcony bar on the second floor but that is the only positive factor."
