"Extremely rude staff, the room smelt like cigarettes and chlorine, we asked for extra blankets and we received blankets with hair on them. Front desk people had such bad attitude when I told them about the smell and blankets. Worst hotel every been to."

"As a Best Western Diamond Select member I have stayed in Best Westerns all over the country and world and this is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in a very long time. Pictures on the app don't match what you will get as far as the room, the moldy sewer smell is definitely there to stay. Bedding and towels are very overused and thin. AC units are old and don't keep the rooms at right temperature so you will either be really cold and damp or hot and damp. Be mindful when checking out to GET A RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND MAKE SURE THE $100 DEPOSIT GETS REFUNDED WHEN YOU CHECK OUT... With that said the hotel staff is the only redeeming quality of this place they were all very helpful and polite and very attentive to the needs i had when they came up. They definitely did the best they could with what they have (talking about the breakfast) They are great and are whats holding that place together. It's because of the good staff that I even give this place a 2 Star rating otherwise it's a 1 and I don't recommend staying here."

"This motel-style hotel is an old place with a separate lobby/ breakfast building. We were assigned a first-floor room in the building facing East Colonial Dr. As soon as you walk into the room, you'll endure a musty, moldy smell with the hint of sewer that will not reduce or air off. The photos of the rooms posted on the hotel's site differ from those you get. Bedding and towels - are overused, thinned, and damp. The AC will not hold the temperature, and there's no way to set the fan to Auto, so the fan is constantly on, making the room very cold and humid, which leads to a more pronounced smell. We had housekeeping come and mop the floors, which were still wet the next day! The pictures were taken the following day, right before we checked out. Breakfast, well, you can tell the staff did their best with what they are supplied. If you are a coffee drinker, braise yourself - this is not your regular brew. My advice: 1. If you can, don't stay there. If you have health issues - don't stay there. 2. Check the room; if it resembles what has been described, don't hope it'll get better. Demand to switch. This is a guess: the rooms in the other buildings and upper floors may be better. Check and check again. Also, a note: they charge a $100 deposit at the check-in. Stay on top of it and make sure it is refunded."
