"I would give it 0 stars if I could. Short staff member with red curly hair was extremely rude despite my being very pleasant to her. They said I could not park in the back because it “looked suspicious”. She came up to my car with a flashlight and started shining it in my windows. I rolled the window down to tell her I was a paying guest that had a room there. (We had spoken earlier that day when she checked me in with the same bad attitude.) She said I could not park there threatened to remove me if I did not move to the front. I had been on the phone with a friend prior to this and was doing nothing illegal or immoral. Horrible staff, only one younger worker was nice. Don’t come to Orlando and especially don’t stay here."
"The first night is the worst night ever. The staff are very rude to its guests. One of the roommates acts very rude to the other roommates. Now staff tells us we have to leave by the morning. It was a mistake booking into this hotel. Never coming here ever! Also, don't come to this place to spend the night in one of the worst hotels in Orlando."
"I spent 3 nights in this hostel, and it was the worst experience since I arrived in the US. The room was incredibly dirty, and smelly and the floor was sticky. All the corridors of the hostel smelt cigarette. The bathroom had no toilet paper for pretty much the whole duration of my stay. The first night, when I got back to my room, someone drunk was sleeping in my bed. The day after, when I got back, all the stuff that I left on my bed was gone. I went to see the hostel staff and they gently answered me (without any apologies), that I was responsible for my stuff and that it was not their business, before laughing at me. The manager is unprofessional and has no respect for the clients (she didn't even say neither hello, thank you, or goodbye). She talks as badly to the clients as to her staff. To conclude this amazing experience, I had a hard time being reimbursed for one of my canceled nights even though I met all the conditions for cancellation. They asked me to call 10 different phone numbers because "they did not manage the finances". I sent several emails and text messages, and no one answered. If I had known this before, I would have paid 10x the price to stay in a place that is at least clean and with a competent and respectful staff."
"I was there a week ago. You get what you pay. My roomates were nice and I spent a good time there. There was this lady called Alexis a wonderful person who made my stay special. She is really a go-getter and got everything fixed whenever I ask."
"Met my needs but very basic. I only had an overnight stopover in Orlando so I wasn't there to do the typical Orlando things. Was only about 10-12min from the airport in an Uber so that was great. The hostel was inside Garnet Inn (I believe that's the name) and you check in with the front desk. I arrived very late (~2:30am) and the process was quick. Rooms were pretty standard hotel rooms, just with bunks in them. I really hate when I book a mixed dorm but end up being the only girl - which happened here. Technically the hotel didn't do anything wrong but I wish they would consider this and not arrange it this way. Unfortunately, some dude was shirtless in my bunk since he assumed it would be free - ugh - but was too tired to ask for a bed change. Beds were comfortable enough with an extension cord for charging, so that wasn't bad. They provided earplugs in the rooms. No towels and I saw no soap in the bathroom - would have been an issue if I stayed longer than a few hours. Breakfast was overly simple: available 6:30-9:30 (good) but only had waffles, hard boiled eggs, with some yogurt and juice and toast available. I wish they had more of the typical continental breakfast options. Overall OK for the price."
