"This place is horrible, even my daughter hated it. Upon entering the room it stink really bad. It smell like cigarettes, the linen had a bad odor. I needed a room just for tonight before checking into somewhere else. It actually seems like a drug hotel. Definitely should have followed the reviews. This place is horrible. If you are reading negative reviews on this hotel plllease believe them. Definitely calling corporate Tuesday morning!"

"Very clean and updated room(302) with 2 comfortable Queen beds and a decent 42" TV with many channels. They have a pool but it's not heated, so it was quite cold this time of year. No cockroaches, which is unfortunately hard to find with many hotels in the area that are under $100 a night(I paid $54 a night, for 7 nights). The only con that I can think of is the location, It is located next to a prison. Though I didn't experience any problems, there were plenty of police patrols in the area, so it did feel safe. So to wrap up, it was a great stay at a reasonable price. I would gladly stay there again."

"Would not recommend, sure it's close to Universal, but did not realize it was next to a prison. The lady who checked us in wasn't very friendly, charged us extra fees even though we already booked online. I paid for the king bed but gave us a queen, saying that's all they had left. But looking through the open windows we saw a King room available and with a modern style room(last photo). We got a room that was pulled out of the 80s with clunky furniture, and a safe in the washroom, stained towels, roaches that ended up coming home with us. Their 'included breakfast' was just some coffee in the lobby. The list goes on, but it was particularly annoying when the fire alarm would go off after we would take showers, and then waking up to mosquitoes buzzing around us. We killed about 10 of them in one night.."

"This place was da bomb. The roaches gave good room service and were overall nice, they supplied me with everything I needed. I think people misunderstood this place (and the bugs/roaches) overall because it was great, pricing and all. Its byof/d but they still supplied me I'm not even VIP but they treated me like one 5/5 Burger King Crowns (equivalent to 10/10) it's a must see."

"No as the reviews said, yes it's a old motel but overall in our room is clean no roaches and the best part the lady at the front dest Miss Rosa she was absolutely awesome helped us and others with reservations Besides Big truck parking at least for 10 or more"
