"We had the best stay! January 31-February 5. The room was cozy and well equipped. Plenty of towels!! Beds were comfortable and lots of pillows!! Plenty of places to plug in our electronics. The staff was outstanding! Breakfast was huge!! Great selection and the staff is continually refilling the food. Would definitely recommend and return. Just wonderful!"

"Came to the area on business/vacation for 2 weeks. Initially has plans to stay at this Holiday Inn Hotel for my entire stay but had to changehotels dues to the hotel cleanliness. I had to change rooms 3 times. The first night room smelled like mildew and gave me a headache. They changed my room. The second night I woke up to roaches everywhere (LITERALLY EVERYWHERE) at 4am. Staff changed my room immediately. The third room and the third day, room had the mildew smell and the shower tub didn't drain properly. Had to shower in pool of water. Overall staff was great, breakfast was decent but the hotel itself is in need of a complete interior renovation."

"The desk staff was great - friendly & responsive. We had several issues with our stay: our initial room had damaged light switches, the phone did not work, and the shower did not work. The front desk was great in getting us moved to a second room. This room initially didn't have a desk chair & the phone also did not work but we decided it was fine. At the end of our stay we forgot an item & the front desk found it quickly & let us know to call when a manager was in so it could be mailed home. It took 2 managers over 2.5 weeks, 4 phone calls, & a complaint through IHG to finally have the item mailed. Each phone call was a new excuse & it was very frustrating. At one point I was told they wouldn't charge to ship the item back due to delays but when a different person finally shipped the item via FedEx I was charged. We appreciated the shuttles to the park during our stay but I wish it had been more clear on the booking pages that the shuttle does not run all day (3 drop offs in the morning & 3 pickups in the afternoon). This may be an inconvenience for families who want to return to the hotel before 5/530. The walls are very thin & our room door was warped with a crack at the top. Which meant we heard the screaming children next door for hours & could hear every noise in the hallways - don't stay here if you're a light sleeper. There are no water fountains in the building, but the staff pointed me to the gym where a water jug system was available. I am surprised that the hotel doesn't comply with current plumbing codes (requiring a minimum number of water fountains based on occupancy). We selected this hotel due to bonus point opportunities with IHG. As a rewards member & former employee of this brand, I was overwhelmingly disappointed in the stay. I am glad the staff was friendly - it was one of the few redeeming parts of our stay. Needless to say, we will select another hotel on our next Universal trip."

"Spent 10 days here, for work reasons. Entire time stay was very comfortable. We needed our stay extended twice because of work related issues, and they managed the extensions very efficiently. The morning breakfast is great too. Stayed in 2 room types, suite and standard. Suite is spacious with its own little living room area and is very comfortable. Standard room is still great. Beds are comfortable, and they provide both soft and firm pillows for use. Front desk gave great service during entire stay here."

"Very nice hotel, clean rooms. The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming. As were housekeeping, and the kudos to the breakfast crew! The best breakfast in any hotel chain I've experienced thus far, and I love to travel! It was a very pleasant experience, the staff were always warm and friendly. The pool area was nice and clean, as were the outside of the hotel. The halls were quiet during the nights, and it was just a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and I will stay again. ❤️"
