Village Medical at Walgreens

"Made an appointment through the call center weeks before, got to the doctor and was told they had no record of my appointment and the doctor was not in. This was despite numerous text messages confirming my appointment reminding me on my appointment all the way up to an including reminder the day before and several hours before the appointment. I was allowed to see the physician's assistant, who seemed very thorough reviewed my medical conditions and my drugs asked if there was anything I needed. Also prior to my appointment I went on to the website they have to make an appointment online and it showed my doctor available numerous time slots for numerous days within that same week my appointment was. When I was at the doctor's office I was told that was not accurate either. Several days after my appointment I needed to reach the office staff, there is no direct line to the doctor you have to navigate the call center, the same people that set my bad appointment. The call center is very slow to pick up the phone will leave you on hold for approximately 5 minutes, then tell you you're going to be on hold while they try to reach the office, five more minutes later they say no one at the office is picking. I tried for approximately 3 hours to speak to someone at the office, and never did get through. This was in response to a missed call from them. An office employee and also the nurse did leave me messages in the patient portal."

"It’s my request not to use Village medical if you care about you and your family.This is my recent experience I am sharing with Village medical Wesley chapel.I went @wesley chapel location.i was enrolled in Jan 24 as new patient.I went to get treatment for my bad cold and cough.When I arrived at clinic they advised me that my appointment was cancel and Dr.is available only on call.They did not make any prior call ,not bothered how far patient driving from.No apologies and I was rescheduled for today 07Feb. Today again horrible experience I was driving to see Dr.,office staff calls me last min that they stop taking my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket if I will like to see Dr. How unethical and disgusting service is at village medical you can imagine. I will recommend to stay away from this clinic if you care for right treatment to yourself and loved ones."

"Dr. Lafleur is very thorough and detailed. She is quite helpful in answering questions and providing important information to educate the patient. She is enjoyable and I admire her cheerful, happy outlook every time I have seen her."

I believe that I am not exaggerating when I say that she treats everyone with her heart as well as the most modern knowledge mixed with her old fashioned bedside manner. Update I have been extremely happy with everything and everyone at this practice. I have yet to see a single issue or problem with any of the services that are available. Even the online service is fantastic, I have to say that it is the fastest most caring of any provider that I have ever seen or used.
