BayCare Urgent Care (Tampa) - Occupational Health Site

"On June 28, 2023, I was scheduled for a 9:30 work physical. I arrived early and filled out all the required paperwork prior to arrival. Once I arrived, I had to fill out more paperwork. An hour later, I was finally called back to the exam room. During the physical, I was given a skin TB test. I asked when and where I needed to get the sample area reexamined a few days later. No one knew, nor was I told what to do. When I had my EKG, the electrodes would not stick to my skin. I was clean shaven. Other techs had to either hold or tape the electrodes to my body. I was told I had an abnormal reading and had to see a cardiologist. (I made an appointment, and $689 later, out of my pocket, the cardiologist said I was fine) In late August, I was contacted by the BayCare occupational clinic to reschedule the TB test and they forgot the pulmonary test. I went back again. An hour later I was done. The employees there are very nice but the wait times, especially with appointments, are too long. Also, not completing the correct procedures. The icing on the cake was the money I had to pay for a cardiologist. I don't have insurance."

"Gretchen was amazing in the front desk. The Medical assistant was kind and courteous to me thru the whole process. The results for my test was quick and fast. The provider was in fast and my departure was fast. I think they did a great job keeping in the loop for the next step and time time frames . I great appreciate everyone"

"This place is HORRIBLE straight up. I never felt disappointed and disrespected by a medical care facility personnel. I checked in and waited well past 140 minutes just for a Covid-19 test, I have places to be, it's cost a lot of valuable time. Funny how this is run, certain people comes in, and complained about something without appointments then they're pushed ahead of other people. The brunette lady with the messed up tattoos at the front needs an attitude readjustment. Seems very unprofessional and unpleasant."

"Everyone has so much personality here; they are a team that works together and has fun; it’s contagious. We were warmly welcomed when we came in and that welcomed continued by everyone throughout the visit. We waited 15 minutes tops before being take back- which I took the time to fill out electronic paperwork (I did make an appointment prior to arrival). I was seen by the provider in less than 5 minutes after the tech grabbed my vitals, etc. The provider diagnosed me quickly, but was thorough with my focused assessment. In and out under 45 min! Would definitely return."

"Amazing experience! I went here after having a not so pleasant experience at OPES Health Channelside. My experience here was phenomenal. I am big on vibrations and this establishment had such positive energy. The receptionist at the front desk was so attentive and polite. She answered all of my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable. Making my way to the back, each individual that I encountered had a great attitude. The doctor was very pleasant and had answers to all of my questions/concerns. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to my family and friends."
