"Report work order to office numerous times and nothing done. They charging $50 extra for washer/dryer per month which never works and still remain in apartment as storage for free on me. Always promise maintenance would come never see one. It's such a big disappointment moving there"
"I am still working on my refund for my deposit. I moved out last July 20, 2023 and until now I didn't get my refund yet. It is also hard for them to call their office. They barely answer their phonecalls. When I ask abou my refund they will always their main office is the one that will contact me. Now been calling them for days no one is picking up their phone. Be careful with this apartment."
"RUN!! Unless you have no other options I wouldn’t recommend a place like this to my worst enemy. I don’t know where to start. Management is soo rude & unprofessional, and they will NEVER answer phones calls or respond to any texts/emails even during business office hours. Valet trash almost never get picked up despite being forced to pay the monthly fee. If you have a maintenance request? Prepare to wait months. The gym is only accessible when the leasing office is open Mon-Friday. So if you have any 9-5 job, just forget about it. Living here feels like a ripoff & nightmare & there's no way to contact anyone higher up than the office staff. They don’t care at all nore will they at least pretend to"
"I mean, if you fell on hard times and need a roof over your head this place is fine. But if you’re doing alright and care about things like hot water, trash pickup and air conditioning, DON’T live here. You pay for what your get. The rent is cheap because the apartments are low level, the maintenance is low level, the customer service is bad. They just got a janky situation over here. Imagine if Popeye’s or Walmart ran an apartment complex. That level of janky. Like, there’s not a Chick-fil-A or Target level employee on their roster. From top to bottom. AC issues, garbage issues, management issues, trees falling on cars. It’s all just so janky. Have some respect for yourself and don’t consider this place."
"I was a tenant at Lavista Crossing from Feb 2019 to Feb 2020. This is the most unkempt and unprofessional apartment complex I have ever had the displeasure of living at in my 6+ years of renting in Atlanta. During our lease, we experienced issues such as untreated mold, a ground-floor window that did not lock, and a run-down unit with shoddy repairs everywhere you looked. My vehicle along with two of my neighbors' vehicles were completely totaled due to their negligence in maintaining their property. A rotted tree fell (without the influence of inclement weather such as wind or rain) in front of our unit. Management deflected responsibility; the property manager was dismissive and hostile. The "CEO" of the old property management company (Radius) called me from a private number to berate me for requesting the property insurance information. Service requests were consistently ignored -- I had to call and send emails repeatedly to get anyone to respond, and maintenance requests were never completed in a timely manner or to a satisfactory level. We frequently had to take matters into our own hands treating the mold ourselves and purchasing a locking mechanism for our window. Now, two full years after our lease expired, we received a notice from a DEBT COLLECTOR claiming we owed Lavista Crossing money for damages/repairs as a result of our tenancy. We were never contacted by Lavista Crossing after we returned our keys -- we were never sent a move-out inspection report per the terms of our lease agreement. We participated in a program that allowed us to pay a lower non-refundable fee in lieu of a security deposit, essentially insurance for a security deposit. This ensured that if there was any damage above normal wear and tear, Lavista Crossing would contact the company to collect the money to cover any repairs/replacements needed. Lavista Crossing clearly did not uphold their end of the agreement and now I am having to spend time and resources to prove that this is an illegitimate debt that we were never alerted of. Stay away from this place. The rates are cheap for a reason."
