"Beware! You do not want to live here! Management is very greedy and money hungry. We were completely lied to from the start about a “free” month and buyout terms. Charged us over $7,000 after moving out! Management (Shaw) was very rude after their employees lied to us and made us pay the price for them changing our lease. We also constantly had cockroaches in our apartment every single day, even after they “sprayed”. This is was the worst experience we have ever had at an apartment complex. Extremely disappointed."
"The complex is beautiful and safe but my daughter’s apartment is infested with roaches and they do not take it seriously. We never had bugs before and are going out of our minds trying everything and buying everything and to no avail. They spray almost every week and still can’t get it under control. I’m so disappointed because everything else is perfect and I don’t understand why no one else has this problem or it’s not mentioned anywhere. We moved her from a brand new home to this and it’s caused such great anxiety for us. I tried to add photos but it won’t allow me."
"I moved here about 4 months ago and have been loving it so far! The amenities are great and very clean, and the gym is the largest I’ve seen for an apartment complex. Management also does a great job on hosting community events and making everything feel inclusive! Being on Daniel Island keeps you close enough to downtown and Mt. Pleasant without living in the middle of all that. The only complaint I have is the turn out of the complex, it is very dangerous to turn left across 3 lanes with no middle turning lane - but that is not the complex’s fault! I would recommend living here 100%"
"I was charged an extra $50 for the past four months due to a clerical error on there end. And they refunded only $50 for one month. So i had to pay an extra $200 for their mistake and they refuse to refund any more money. Absolutely ridiculous, Rent is over $2,000 for almost every unit. And they are too money hungry to repay a simple mistake that they made to someone who has been living in the apartments for almost 2 years. Put a really bad taste in my mouth. I can not wait to leave this place ran by a not pleasing group of people."
"I love the amenities that they have. My apartment is great, tons of storage space, quiet neighbors, and I love the elevators. The maintenance team has been very responsive to work request, and I feel like it is an overall safe community. They are doing a better job with getting involved with the residents (have a lot of events/food vendors come by). There are issues with the mail sometimes but I feel like that’s on the delivery services. And entering Clements Ferry is treacherous at times but with some patience or by exiting right and making a U-turn it can be done. It would be a huge win to get a light added at that junction."
