"I liked this place but it is old. Staff is friendly and helpful the location is great with the market and the free buss a couple blocks away. Rooms are spacious and have plenty of amenities. Because the hotel is old, it is loud. The floors were loud and the doors let a lot of noise through. Other than that I liked the place."

"The areas we were in at Lodge Alley were gorgeous. Due to the weather we didn’t get to enjoy the courtyard as much as we would have liked. The studio was one of the best we’ve been in. The view was meh, but I expected it as I didn’t expect a better one. The living room was cozy with a fireplace. I loved the old wood flooring. We would choose a different bed size next time as a double bed isn’t big enough for two to share comfortably. The front desk staff were friendly. The valet parking staff were as well when you saw them. We had to constantly ask the front desk for them. The valet staff upon check in and out helped us with our bags. The biggest draw to this resort is the access to downtown. Food and shopping was within walking distance. A downside for us was that no one seemed to know where grass or a potty station was for my service pup was within walking distance. The sales staff had an answer, but it came as we were checking out."

"My stay at The Lodge Alley Inn in the gorgeous studio on the 2nd floor overlooking E. Bay Street for 4 days/nights was beyond comfortable, perfectly located & wonderfully appointed. I entertained an old friend in the giant searing room. A large closet, iron/ironing board, hair dryer & cozy bed made me feel at home. The valet was convenient too. Will absolutely stay again. Be sure to check out the famed fountain where you can lead a horse to water but not make them drink :)"

"This was an excellent location with a great room, with excellent views. Very comfortable beds, and living room. The refrigerator had both a cool and freezer section. The restroom and shower were very nice, the shower had good pressure, but did not have a handheld shower head. The hotel is within walking distance of the Market, several nice restaurants and a target store. Parking is valet and they do very well in getting your vehicle quickly. Overall it was excellent and we had an amazing time."

"I had a studio room. It was great! Sofa bed was comfortable (mom got the real bed). Plenty of room and quiet at night. Shower was good and enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Only negative was the shampoo but that can be overlooked. The location was amazing! Close to the free shuttle stop and dining. Easy to walk around downtown."
