"The Heyward has been nothing short of exceptional. The units are well made, maintenance is timely, and the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure my needs are met. I enjoy the friendly community the Heyward establishes, and the clubhouse is kept in pristine condition. Huge shout out to Jack in the business office who always has a smile on his face, and recently helped me move (and dispose of) a large box spring. Susie and Michaela rock too! As a new tenant, I cannot wait to start enjoying all of the fun activities that are planned monthly, and have already taken advantage of the food trucks that come to the property often. I feel safe, comfortable, and valued as a resident here at the Heyward and I am so fortunate to call this place home!"

Maintenance staff especially - on the few occasions we’ve needed to submit a work order, the team has been extremely responsive and attentive. So glad we chose this community!"

Whether it’s maintenance, the grounds or the general staff, they’re all incredible. Sometimes I walk outside and it truly feels like being at a resort. Yet they do fun events and really engage and care about their tenants. This is more like a community than just apartments. This is home."

"We have been living at The Heyward for 9 months now and we absolutely love it! The front office crew was amazing and super helpful in the leasing process & this same standard has continued since! Big thank you to Michaela, Jack & Suzie. The Heyward is very dog friendly, they have a wonderful turf dog park and great community of dog owners. This make is very easy to meet other residents and make friends. They also host events in the clubhouse throughout the month including activities, food & alcoholic beverages. Their maintenance team (Justin & Leonard) are very quick to respond to and fulfill requests, hands down the best crew and apartment management we have experienced. Finally, the location is great as you are close to downtown and Folly Beach."

"I’ve lived here for 8 months and it has been amazing! The leasing office and maintenance crew have been nothing short of wonderful! They help me right away. I had a hornets nest forming on my patio and within the hour someone came out to spray it. The pool is great and I have made life long friends here since everyone is so kind. They also have events in the club house that I highly recommend attending! My apartment is spacious and the opera layout has outdoor storage which is so helpful. When I was looking for apartment the Heyward was the most expensive but I am so glad I chose to live here because it’s worth it. Also a plus is that it’s super dog friendly and there is always another dog to have a play date at the park with! Highly recommend living here!!"
