"Hotel is clean and well maintained. Free breakfast is included and has a pretty good variety which changes somewhat from day to day. The location is perfect for experiencing what downtown/historical Charleston has to offer."

"Stayed here for my birthday weekend. The view of the bridge from our room was gorgeous! The room was very nice and cozy. Bed was so comfy. Located within walking distance of so many things. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent location on King Street and it accepts dogs! Very nice breakfast! Room okay, but with four people two had to sleep on sofa bed which is not comfortable and it was only half made. Front desk attendants are not terribly helpful except the overnight gentleman."

"A great hotel in a really good spot however disappointing to see the amount of waste they have at breakfast. A hotel like this should lead by example and have reusable cutlery, plates, bowls etc. but instead everything is disposable. The cereals all come in disposable plastic. If you go to hotels anywhere else in the world you don’t see this kind of waste. It would be great to see companies like this do better!"

"Location was great staff was alright greeted us as soon as we got in HOWEVER room and matress smelled horrible. I thought the smell was from recent cleaning and needed to be aired out but then sleeping the sheets and mattress had a horrible smell(especially on the left corner of the bed). I couldn't deal with the mattress smelling and while looking for the source of the smell we found holes in the smelly sheets I checked out immediately at night (was charged the full night since booking with a third party which i guess is policy) We did checked the edges no bed bugs thank goodness one staff member did seem understanding about the situation and mention they will be remodeling soon. The other seemed a little annoyed. The room over all was not best condition the curtain were also stain and the bathroom was alright with slight smell as well with holes patched. The toilet paper holder looked like it was going to break as well. Over all last time I will be staying at a Hyatt this is the second time a bed had dirty sheets. I always end up leaving and going to another hotel. I wished I looked at Google reviews prior. Not worth the money I had a better room at a Marriott it was worth the further location and driving to Charleston."
