"The worst apartment complex to live in. My AC wasn’t working properly for the first 6 months of my lease. I had to put in over 7 requests for them to check my AC and each time they lied like nothing was wrong until the 7th time. Called two separate HVAC companies myself and both said it is unusual for the AC to not emit cold air even on the hottest days of the year on the top floor. The entrance/exit gate was broken for the first 7 months as well! So it was open continuously for months!! My car has been towed TWICE despite me living here and there being no parking spots available. Even as I parked in the same spot when there was no parking spots for the whole week. The leasing office claimed no spots are reserved even though i see parking spots that literally say “reserved parking.” Leasing office doesn’t have any answers immediately, I have to wait for a proper answer to any of my questions.Save your money and invest in a great apartment complex bc this complex isn’t it! The parking problem is most likely bc as of December ‘22 when I moved in they had no qualifications to make 2 or 3x the rent so I’m sure they have rented to many people. EDIT: Neither the front office manager or the towing company know the schedule of when they come to tow. So on top of no parking spots, you have to guess when you’ll be able to park peacefully!"

"Moving here was by far one of the worst decisions made. Firstly with beyond incompetent office staff and management that would rather lie and be useless than actually help residents. There's no true maintenance for the property with work orders getting done weeks later. The office staff and manager will leave you with unanswered questions, calls, and emails giving you pointless lies and antics. Along with that, parking here is atrocious where residents get towed instead of non-residents leaving no spaces available to park. The gate was inoperable for months but no decals nor passes were given to the resident, even with doing the online verification of my vehicle for the property. Truly an atrocious experience."

"One of the worse places i lived. Moved in and ac didnt work in apartment for 2 weeks in the summer time. Gave a one room ac unit for compensation. Had to pull out a pound of previous owner hair from the sink for the water to even go down. Ac doesnt blow out master bedroom after reporting quite a few times. Had an 8th of and inch of black mold on ac filter when moved in. Wind storm can come thru and knock the power out. Walls are paper thin so dont live on the first floor. All in all from the neighbors upstairs doin track meets every day and night to the neighbor next to me dogs barking constantly. Was a very unpleasant living experience. If you wanna keep your sanity. Dont move here."

"I am not from the Charleston area, but moved here almost 2 years ago. I had researched places to live and found this place to be in a location that I thought would be convenient to everything. Sabal Palms are by far the best complex I have lived in ever. It's a quiet neighborhood, all the residents are very friendly. The staff is absolutely great. One of the maintenance guys saw that I was struggling to put in a battery in my car and stopped to help. The office staff is always professional and kind. I love the lakes, I am fortunate that my apartment faces the lake, so I get to see it everyday. The property is clean and the apartments are very well cared for. I would recommend this to everyone! (I don't work for them, I'm a teacher)"
