"I love this community! The location is close to everything and the people in the office (Tayo and Brandon) are always super helpful with everything. Veronica with maintenance is super cool and can fix anything! They did renovations and I really like those plus my floor plan is really big for the price!"
"My roomates and i decided to live at The turn because when viewing the apartment it seemed like it was a great place to live. Unfortunately we’ve had MULTIPLE problems with living here. When first moving in there was mold on windowsills, our doors were put on completely crooked, the AC was broken (and continuously breaks every month), the pipes under our sink were not put together properly causing our kitchen to flood one night, the gate was broken for MONTHS upon move in before finally getting fixed, and you can tell that we didn’t get a renovated home like was promised before moving in. The water pipes have broken twice in less than a year of living here leaving us with absolutely no water or access to water for more than a day each time. On top of that there is no communication from the office on what’s going on or when the water may be back on. Although the maintenance staff is very nice and tries to help it’s just not the best place to live especially for a college student."
"I was paying my rent on time until December when a number of buildings in the apartment complex were flooded due to frozen pipes busting. All of the floors were flooded with water, the ceiling started falling down and the walls were soaked in a lot of apartments. I moved all my stuff out the day this happened so it wouldn’t get further damaged. After the office told me that I would have to pay over $2,500 to terminate the lease, I told them I would move back into my place if it could be fixed in a reasonable time. I requested that they inform me when everything was repaired and I requested a walkthrough. Neither of my requests were honored. I called, emailed and wrote them a certified letter with no response back about them being at fault and taking responsibility. I did receive a few emails from the rental portal mid February saying that some of the repairs were completed but over 6 weeks isn’t reasonable. They didn’t give me all the renters insurance information and didn’t provide me with any alternative place to stay. I received a collection on my credit report for $5688 with an early termination fee over $2,500 on top of rent for an apartment that was not habitable. I wish I could add the videos of all the water coming into the house like a waterfall."
"Tried to move my son in yesterday. Not only was nobody in the leasing office for him to get his key, the number to call is disconnected . The 3rd party answering service ( that we called 3 times) finally gave me 2 other numbers to try to reach property managers but they were not valid. Another resident called maintenance for us and the maintenance guy gave us the key so we could move in and get out of the 96° weather. My son also paid for 2 application fees and was told he would be refunded for 1, but a month later and still no refund. He does not have a gate key fob, but since gates are broken, I guess it doesn’t matter right now. (Major safety concern!) Horrible experience for a college student to deal with here."
"I recently moved to Augusta about a month ago and I’ve had an exceptional experience at The Turn apartments. The location is ideal, with easy access to amenities. The apartment itself surpassed my expectations, offering a well-designed layout and modern fixtures. The management team was very polite and helpful especially Tayo. The maintenance team is also very responsive and professional, ensuring a positive living experience. The community amenities, including the fitness center, pool and beautifully landscaped grounds, were impressive. The neighborhood is also very quiet and everyone is very friendly. I would highly recommend anyone moving to the Augusta area to come visit the turn, you will not regret it!"
