Holiday Inn Express Augusta North - GA, an IHG Hotel

"Good location, service was ok, they are remodeling, No real breakfast service at the moment. Did not have room pre booked for available, due to remodeling. Room looked half remodeled. Breakfast service is currently not running, just one mini fridge with about 3 options. -Will update review after next visit and work is complete."

"Hotel was under renovations when I arrived. Second time in the last month this has happened...the website for the hotel should state that the hotel is under renovations/construction and if the pool/hot tub is out of service/closed. I would not have stayed here had I known this. Room: Room was clean, but hot. AC unit not able to cool the room effectively. The room was hot on arrival. It's been 2 hours and the room is still not cool. Windows were covered with plastic and you can't see through to the outside. Update...5 hours later..ac still doesnt work to cool room. Called dor fan...no fan available. They offered to send maintenance but its bed time. Bathroom: glass door shower & no tub, toilet: very short- as in for children in elementary school -- if you are older or have mobility issues the regular rooms will be an issue due to this. Igloo mini fridge that was working on arrive. Small microwave. flat screen TV on chest -of- drawers ( would be better mounted on the wall with swivel) Power outlets: There are not enough free power outlets for modern travelers with tech gear and ( cell phone, smart watch, laptop..). Ther is only 4 available outlets in the room and 1 in the bathroom. Staff: friendly and professional. Great front desk service. Gas station and Mexican restaurant a stone throw away. Would stay here again ---but need the pool/hot tub open and no construction. And the AC needs to work though ."

"Last stay here cost me $14,700 and the ability to walk for 6 months. Management saved money by not putting any grab bars to exit the tub / shower in my room. They saved money and sold the franchise. New franchise, same management. In fairness to the IHG Group, if you want the run around, it's a great place to stay."

"My trip was business travel, and completely prepaid, once I arrived at the check-in counter, the representative informed me that the card I previously used during making the reservation we're rejected, and that I would have e to make a payment with another card, while at the counter, I didn't want to hold up the other customers checking in, therefore I waited until I got to my room and checked my banking account statement, the previous reservation were paid in full at the Holidai inn Express website. I went back down to the check in counter and informed the guy at the counter that he double charged my accout, and showed him him my reservations displaying totally paid in full from the Holiday Inn website. He apologized, although, Its been almost a week, abd I still havebt received my refund for the over payment. Now regarding the hotel, the elevator and especially the hall ways smell old and musty, the carpets are filty, inside the rooms are better, although, the carpet is filty inside the rooms as well. Team, it's time to bringing a professional, and clean the place up, the carpets are disgusting to be candid."

"People were super friendly, and everything was clean and as you would expect from a hotel. Only 2 issues: 1. Stayed here multiple times now and the shower curtains aren’t wide enough so water always seems to get onto the floor, soaking everything you may leave there. 2. The building is quite outdated. Furniture, wallpaper, lighting, carpet, all of it."
