"Do yourself a favor and just stay at the best western for half the price and a better experience. No control of your air in the room, sweat all night. When others open and close their room doors it is EXTREMELY loud due to sticking of the doors. Woke us up all night and morning. First hotel I’ve stayed at in a while that doesn’t have complementary breakfast. Although they had free coffee that was good. The upstairs restaurant refused to turn on the heaters on the patio outside for us. Pillows were horrible but the bed was worse."

"Edit: I received a very thoughtful follow-up email from Sandra offering to make things right on my next trip to town and have bumped my Service ranking up accordingly. Pros - Historic, southern charm type property Cons - not for HHonors business travelers, quirky layout, no easily accessible power outlet by the bed, problems with air unit and shower drain I had a quick 1-night stay on a business trip and decided to give this property a shot. While I might enjoy it more for a leisure stay, it doesn’t work for me like other Hilton hotels and I probably won’t be coming back. Check-in was pretty seamless but it was interesting getting to my room. After stepping off the elevator, I had to immediately go down 4 steps, walk down a long hallway, and then walk up 4 steps to get to my room. The room was small and bathroom was small and dated, but that was to be expected based on the property. After trying to turn the air temperature down, I went back downstairs to grab a quick snack. When I returned the air was not running and it clearly was not at the temperature I set the thermostat to. I eventually found a mode that would keep the fan consistently running and thought that would suffice. However the overnight temperature never got as cold as I am used to at other Hilton properties (and this stay was in January). The air also had a slight odor to it. The worst part of the stay was the lack of drain in the shower (see pictures). I will say the water pressure was better than I was expecting. Overall my room and stay were overpriced for the value delivered on this business trip. I did not have time to try other amenities such as the gym or breakfast so there may be more value there. But due to some of the quirks (how do you not have a power outlet next to the bed?), I will be choosing a different hotel for my next stay in Augusta."

"Great historic place to enjoy a meal. Great meal, atmosphere, and service. I gave four stars because the drinks were weak. Top shelf orders should have some taste. Second drink I said something, and it was better. Roof top is nice, need more heaters that work for cold time of year. Drinks were weak up top as well. The scallop dinner was excellent, risotto cooked properly. The bread pudding is more than enough to share. Great crisp with soft insides. Good food and service."

"I recently stayed at the Partridge Inn and had a fantastic experience. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks to Charles for his exceptional service in driving me to my conference each day, and to Michael for his outstanding hospitality. However, I've encountered a challenge with the non-refundable portion of the $80 deposit, despite reaching out twice for clarification via email. Overall, I highly recommend the Partridge Inn for its excellent accommodations and exceptional service."

"while i didn’t stay here myself, we spent an evening here visiting my dad who is staying there. it is beautiful and both the ground level patio bar and roof top bar are comfortable places to catch up and have a few drinks. the views are beautiful. the grounds are so cute and well kept. the hotel in a great location close to downtown. beautiful place with a lot of history. i can’t speak on the rooms because i didn’t go inside one but my dad did say he received a room upgrade and who doesn’t love that?? .)"
