Richmond Summit Apartments

"Richmond Summit Apartment isn't a great place to live. There's no cameras on every floor and the cameras to the lobby doesn't work. If anything needs fixing, just as the dishwasher, they won't get it fixed because as long as your sinks still work then the dishwasher isn't important to them. They don't care about the tenents, they just care about the money. Richmond Summit doesn't care about your safety, they're in it for the money. As long as you've got rent money, that's all they care about. A little boy got shot over here and nobody did anything about it. That's why my husband and I are trying to find somewhere else to live."

"Pros: A historic, low income subsidized apartment housing building. Previously a hotel turned into public housing. Housing and utilities included in rent. Has laundry room. Cons:Hard to find parking, infested with bed bugs, roaches and mice. Management and up keep is bare minimum. Minimum to no security, frequent fire alarm warnings, water leaks and no loading elevator for moving large furniture pieces. Laundry machines are often broken or out of order."

"Convenient to a lot of local places, living on Broad st and being in the area is amazing."
