"We had the most lovely time here! I was a bit overwhelmed when looking for a hotel because there were so many options. We definitely picked a winner! The room was a comfortable size and had a bathtub/shower combo. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast served. There were hot items and breads and pastries. Every evening there was a wine and cheese reception hosted for all the guests. Shout out to Barbara and Henriette who hosted the wine events, it was so much fun! Thank you to Gabriel who made sure we had an incredible stay. Southern hospitality at its finest. The location was in the center of town and walkable to everything. The price was very competitive. We stated out loud 5x a day how much we loved the hotel and were so lucky to have stumbled upon it. One suggestion - I think some of the rooms do not have windows (interior rooms). Just double check to make sure you aren’t booking one of these if you do not want to be windowless - I do think these provided cheaper room options though. We are excited to see the staff again and head to Charleston in the near future. Thank you again for making our stay truly incredible!"
"This is a very quaint Inn, located downtown and close to everything you want to see in Charleston. I wish I could give it a great review, but the reason why one selects a hotel is to have a restful stay, and Pinckney Inn failed miserably. We booked a Suite for three nights and paid a premium for it. What we did not know was that it shared a thin wall with their service kitchen, and we were awakened at 5:45 a.m. EVERY MORNING to the clatter as they prepared the continental breakfast. We complained on the first morning, and were told they had no other accommodations. They absolutely should NOT rent this suite. Terrible."
"We really enjoyed our stay here!! The staff were all super friendly & helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The wine, cheese, hors d’oeuves every afternoon was wonderful. Plus, we were close (walking distance!) to all the shopping & amazing restaurants downtown!! We would definitely stay here again!! ❤️"
"This is a darling Inn, perfectly located to take advantage of all that the Charleston peninsula has to offer. The room that we had was very nice, well appointed, and very clean. Nothing too fancy, but very nice. Everyone that we interfaced with was cheerful and upbeat. Don’t miss the complimentary wine and cheese before dinner. It was a great way to get to know fellow travelers. I will definitely return to the Andrew Pickney Inn!"
"For good reason this is one of the best hotels in the historic district. The staff is very accommodating and attentive, the room, a suite in this instance was clean, updated and roomy. The lovely lady that runs the happy hour is amazing. The breakfast was also pretty solid. It's definitely expensive, but generally worth it given the location and the overall experience."
