"I usually don’t write bad reviews just pleased ones but this place is ridiculous. Maybe 2 or 3 nice associates out of 10+. Their clothing is over priced and underpriced. Lived a lot of places. New Orlean, Everywhere in Texas, Boston…. Been to tones of consignments cheap and expensive there is a need for both. But this one is cheap with expensive price tags. Most of the clothes is stretched out, loose threading, stains. And the few times I brought clothes they took the cheap stuff and left the rest. They don’t know clothing. Took them other places and sold quick. Sad it’s close to me but I would say look elsewhere of go to the one in West Ashley. At least those women are polite and helpful."

"I started working at Plato’s closet 2 months ago and got taken off the schedule for calling out once or twice I was told to call back a week later if I want to be back on schedule. Did as I was told then a week later I go check the app shortly after and was fired without being told. I came into work early almost every shift and worked hard. All this for 13$ a hour? I would not work here if I were you"

"They didn’t even bother to go through my clothes ! Told me 30 min got a text within 5 min !!!! The clothes I brought were very much in good condition ! Some still had tags …. It’s like they pick and choose what they want ! I will definitely will be going else where from now on DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR GAS :)"

"Looked around while I was waiting for them to sort through the clothes I'd brought in and the store was basically nothing but Shein and fast fashion. Offered me $10 for three things out of a bag full of multiple items with the tags still on them, jean shorts included when it's literally 91° as I type this. I saw a sign that they're hiring, I kind of want to interview here just to see if I can get an explanation for the reason their employees consistently have terrible attitudes and why their buying policy is as terrible as it is."
