"Our experience itself was very sad as we had to lay our kitty Halo to rest, but the Dr and staff were so attentive and patient with us through all the tears. We will always take our animals here"
"Very pleased with all employees. Very professional and knowledgeable. Prices were very reasonable."
"I find this establishment about as professional as a mob riot. I brought my dog Cupcake in for a dental cleaning and two lumps removed. Cupcake has always from the time I adopted her about 9 years ago has always had her yearly and six month vet visits, never has she missed them. Those visits included dental cleanings when needed. I moved here to Greenwood about a year ago when my wife and I retired. I started using Kinard's first for her normal check up and vaccinations, in the initial check up no mention was made about the condition of her teeth, yes they did look. Those visits I felt the staff was cold and the office is set up more like an automobile repair facility as opposed to a doctors office. This time was the last straw. I made an appointment to have her teeth cleaned and two lumps/bumps removed. I have never had this happen before but I had to pay a deposit at the setting of the appointment, really? I was told that the day before her visit I would get a call to confirm the appointment and time to drop her off. I did not receive a call I got a text message two days before confirming the date and giving me a time to drop her off, I replied yes. The day of her appointment about a half hour before I would be leaving to drop her off I received a phone call from Kinard's asking me if i was still keeping the appointment and telling me I'm late. I informed the person that I received a text with the date and time but was rudely told I needed to drop her off before 8 am. I sadly did drop her off and was told I would receive a call when she was ready to be picked up. I did get a call a few hours later no info on how the procedure went even when asked I was just told to pick her up a 3 pm. So I arrived at 3 pm but she was not ready, they had several hours to do any necessary paper work for her discharge, now I'm not very happy. So after waiting 10 to 15 minutes they finally let me know how the procedure went, they told me they extracted 10 teeth. Remember she has never not had a yearly or six month wellness visit at the vets, she has had several teeth cleanings. How can teeth, and that many go bad in one year? Yup, I'm now pissed. I did not get any call about them "needing" to do ANY WORK beyond a cleaning, they just did it! I let them know my feelings on what had happened, I asked how can that many teeth need extracting in just one years time. No response but the gave me a baggy with her extracted teeth, there were eight not ten, where is the other two? Now I'm thinking they are padding the bill claiming ten extractions not eight. I did leave with her medications and instructions, yes I paid the bill. That was the last time I will take her there, I'll find a different vet. In short Kinard's is unprofessional, the staff is cold as ice if not rude, they can not seem to give correct follow up communications. Over all they do not even deserve a one star rating, they fall well below a one star rating."
"very disappointed. Will never bring my dog here again. I paid 415$ and they don't even know what is wrong with my dog. They may think that's a little bit of money to them that's 2 weeks of work I have to do. Now I have to take her to Bowman on Monday. She is still crying and yelping and nothing they did helped her. Most everyone was very friendly but I think that was just a front to get more money from me. They said it would cost 8$ to trim her nails they charged 18$. I am now sitting here with a sick dog. I will never come here again. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves it's not all about money you are a vet clinic you should have compassion. Also one other thing that bothered me, they didn't do anything in front of me and they never showed me the x-rayof my dog. So for all I know they could have done nothing for her!!"
"The unprofessional in this place is unreal, when I bring my pet I expect them to be taken care of! Shouldn’t have to come back over and over to get them fix, healed. The only thing I seemed to hear was $$$$! I also spoke with the doctor, she didn’t seemed to want to rekindle things, she even suggest getting their records together for else where. The staff are rude, the communication isn’t the best. It should be about the animals, what’s in their best interest. Won’t be coming back also wouldn’t recommend."
