"Half the merchandise I purchased for $1.00 rang up at $1.25 or higher. I had cart full of stuff. I did not blame the young man working there. I left everything's there. NO thank you."

"The majority of the stores are usually half stocked for lack of employees. I understand that you have to save money somewhere but you need to increase your labor hours. Believe me I will spend extra money if the floors are not so crowded. I have skipped buying many items for the simple reason of being unable to reach the product. On delivery days add ten hours to labor and have 2 extra people work 5 hours to strictly put up product on delivery days. Going up ten or fifteen cents on the majority of the products to help cover the cost. People will pay."

"The employees are friendly, but with EVERY visit I find the isles are crowded with products needing to be shelved. This is true for every Dollar General I've visited. The food items I purchase are less expensive than most grocery stores (check product dates) so it's worth dealing with the obstacles. I'll always shop here, I just wish I could move around better."

"Nice clean store but my visit took far too long. The store could be cleaner. Then automate crime alert upon entrance may be necessary but cant bode a very strong relationship with the surrounding community. This sort of cheap asset protection is a direct assumption of criminality. Other than that... its alright."

"Assistant manager was very friendly and helpful. The store was freezing cold. No heat. Totally disappointed. Why would Dollar General have their employees work in those conditions and why expect customers to shop in those conditions."
