"In 2024, my husband and I will be moving to Summerville, from Portland, Oregon. Our intention was to completely update our new home, but the thought of doing it long distance was daunting. That was until I stumbled upon J&K Furnishing in Mt. Pleasant. After reading about the extensive selection they had to offer, and the in-house interior design service that was available, I reached out to one of their designers and began one of the best shopping experiences of my life! Karen Johnson became not only my designer extraordinaire, but an invaluable part of entire process. She listened to my ideas and needs, then helped guide me to selections that fit perfectly… some even exceeding my vision for our new home. The remote service she provided over the course of 3 months was something not always found in today’s world, but so appreciated. Along the way, I had the pleasure of virtually meeting another associate, Margaret, who was gracious enough to jump in and help whenever Karen needed her. Having worked in high end retail for 30 years, I appreciate a store with a strong team approach. The financing, protection plan, and delivery services all rounded out a perfect experience. Now, we can wait for the house to be finished, knowing that the furniture will be perfect, thanks to Karen, her manager Chris, and this fabulous team.
