"We checked in at 4am on a road trip traveling with two little girls, we had requested a later check out instead of 11am. We were offered by the front desk a check out of 1pm. I asked if there was a charge and she said no. At 10:40am the manager called the room, waking us with a very unprofessional tone asking us to come to the office immediately to pay a fee of $25 for the late check out. We ended up leaving at 12pm because we were uncomfortable and did not want to be charged. The manager was rude to my husband, but told us we wouldn’t be charged after we had to argue that his employee told us there was no charge The room was clean for what you pay, except the toilet paper had not been changed and the room had a random chair that was shredded to bits, looked like it needed to be thrown out. Also, I was charged two separate charges for the deposit (in total $100) and only received one back. We left the room impeccable, so I’m not sure why only half was returned."

"I was grateful to get a ADA room. I have seizures and have a service dog. It was nice to know that people are professional and courteous."

"Do not stay here! When my daughter arrived she didn't feel safe even getting out of the car. We called to cancel due to safety issues and were told we would not be charged. Now the manager won't refund us because he doesn't agree with her assessment. Terrible customer service!!!"

"Traveled with family for a destination wedding. Very close to the interstate, lots of dining places in the area. The staff was extremely courteous! We booked 3 rooms, the front desk was very nice and gave us adjourning rooms for 2. I gave 4 stars due to chlorine smell in room, which was most likely due to the pool being a couple of doors down. Overall, great stay."

"I stay here on business when I come to this area. Every single time I come, they meet and exceed my expectations of the types of hotels that you can drive right up to the room door. If not, they get you as close to the room door as possible. This is great when you carry a lot of luggage with you and need as less as possible steps to get your stuff in the room. I love this & makes a huge difference to me! Every time I come, every single room is very clean and you can smell this, you know it’s clean! I stay approximate 10 times a year here, & I’ve never been disappointed in about 20 years that I’ve stayed particularly in this area of Savannah. I keep coming to this motel, because I know what I’m getting for what I pay for and they are the best choice for about 20 hotels/morels in this area! The staff is great and they have a Great Manager that will take care of any needs that come up. You can tell that you are a person and not a number here. Very Great HoJo Team here! Breakfast is great here!"
