Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort

"We got in late, I was stressed out because we parked behind the building and thought we were locked out. We finally made it around the building, my card gets declined. Curly was so patient and understanding, she didn’t make me feel embarrassed and went above and beyond. Please give her recognition, I’ve never had someone be so kind in customer service. Obviously, our card ended up working and the room is comfortable. We always choose Hilton, for the service!"

"Location is near restaurants and coffee. Walkable to historic downtown. Rooms were clean and well appointed. We were there two nights and they did not service room. They did provide more coffee and towels at front desk. Thermostat hanging off wall in room and no hot water at sink. Bed was comfy. Staff is not customer oriented. Hidden charges in bill so be cautioned that what you are quoted on website is what you pay."

"To be truthful, my husband and I were a little concerned about this hotel, as most of the reviews were not positive. However, we had a very good experience. Our only challenges were reaching the front desk by phone when we were driving in in the morning as well as once we arrived. There was some debate with the front desk clerk about the late check out that we had paid for. But we were able to get that resolved, and the room itself was clean, up-to-date and comfortable. The location worked well for a wedding. We were attending about 30 minutes away. They do not offer breakfast, so if you would like that, you would have to pay for it, but we had no problem with that and knew it ahead of time. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would recommend staying there for anyone needing a hotel in the Beaufort South Carolina area."

"The hotel is very nice and modern. It’s not far from many of the things to explore in Beaufort, SC. Very clean and cozy. The bartender is very slow, not welcoming at all. You basically have to get her attention for anything and she was very rude to the chef. Didn’t even acknowledge the chef when he brought the menu out for the next day. He was trying to get her attention said hello to guests and she acted like he wasn’t even there. I was in shock to say the least. Brianna at the front desk was amazing, welcoming and so helpful. Great asset to Guest Services"

"Very happy with our one-night stay. Clean and spacious rooms. Welcoming lobby. Friendly staff. Fairly decent breakfast choices, though we would have liked it better if they had their usual southern biscuits. Overall great stay!"
