"I’ve been living here since September 2019. While things haven’t always been perfect, the building, building staff, and tenants are top notch. The building has a community feel and overall the amenities are good. Whenever I’ve had issues and I raise them to management the on site team is quick to make repairs."
"The building itself is great and my husband and I love the staff. We’ve loved building relationships with people like our doorman Anthony and proximity to the train and other great neighborhoods. Our experience however was severely soured when we had to move out. Working with Nathaly to manage details regarding moving was extremely unpleasant and patronizing and we felt like the relationship we built as tenants disappeared once we were no longer paying customers which was very disappointing. (tl;dr you’ll have a great experience up until you move out)"
"If you want to be scammed out of your security deposit then this is the place to live. Its been months since I have moved out of this place and still have not gotten my security deposit back. Also the building management (Jacob Ide) will continuously lie to you and tell you that your security check has been mailed out yet it hasn't been sent. The Margo management team is full of scam artists and I would stay far away. Once the management team knows you know about the scam, they avoid all calls."
"The building itself is nice enough for a rental property, although I would argue any property with cheap built in wall unit ACs is not “luxury”, but I digress. Most of the staff are kind and accommodating, however if that ended there this would be a 4 star review. Unfortunately, the management, leasing, and ownership of Red Apple is atrocious, lacks empathy, is cheap, and at times is borderline fraudulent. Veiled threats of eviction during a COVID moratorium while rent was already paid for the month is only the icing on the cake. They nickel and dime you at every corner and are incredibly hostile. Not an isolated event either, MANY the tenants through all 4 buildings have tales of very contentious disputes with management and leasing. TL:DR: So as long as you pay rent, don’t say a peep, and take it on the chin when they nickel and dime you, you’re fine, however you’ve been warned."
"Did not feel welcome here at all. Staff catered to a particular demographic of tenant. Building owned by Catsimatidis so what can you expect. Very happy to have left."
