"Beautiful hotel, I had a nice view of the street scenery, and the subway went by every night which I really enjoyed. There’s a laundromat a block over and lots of really good food nearby. There was a comedy club down on the corner. I extended my stay a couple times. It was definitely an easy place to get to from all over the city. The only negative is finding parking but that’s typical for New York. I had parked in a spot that I didn’t see any signs, and there was a boot on my car in the morning. There still was no signs in the morning, so sometimes it’s hard to know where to park ."

"Pleasantly surprised. Expected tiny rooms but were normal sized with nifty features! The beds were SO cozy and room temp was comfortable. The front desk was very approachable and gave lots of perks like $25 towards food and drinks each day which is a huge bonus. The calamari was bomb. The only thing that was frustrating was getting the bartenders attention — need to really wave them down and then were received with a bit of sass."

"The hotel's location is great, and the staff is fantastic. However, the rooms, as many have pointed out, are excessively small, and every noise echoes. Unfortunately, the service in the bar and restaurant is subpar, with most servers showing a lack of care, except for one pleasant girl at the bar. A specific incident at the bar involved a young worker being incredibly rude to my friend while ordering a bagel. Surprisingly, the displayed bagels weren't self-serve, leading to the worker scolding my friend. Another guest confirmed a similar experience. As paying customers, a basic level of friendliness should be expected. This negative encounter tainted my overall hotel experience, making us hesitant to spend any more money there. Quite disappointing."

"Booked a room with my two young kids and wife. Front desk seemed like a makeshift front desk with a small table and two laptops. Certainly was not a welcoming entrance. Had a Marriott gift card and they actually took a picture of it because they didn’t know how to enter it. Had to remind them on checkout and they took another picture of it. Thankfully, it did get applied correctly. Rooms have a nice view but there is absolutely no privacy. Bathroom and shower were separate with a sink in the room itself. The bathroom and shower only have a frosted glass so you can clearly see into them so there is no privacy. I don’t understand who would want a bathroom that you could clearly see into?? No fridge, microwave or coffee in the room. One tiny chair to sit on in the room so good luck if you want to eat breakfast in the room. Thermostat is just for show. It didn’t do anything so room got super warm. Cracked a window but that didn’t do much and only brought in city noise. If only you traveling, I’m sure it does its job but I do not recommend with a family and will not return with mine."

"The staff was very nice. Check in was fast and easy. Restaurant staff were amazing and made me some really good mocktails. We enjoyed our lunch there as well. Upon check in I was surprised to find a lack of mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. For that reason I will advise that the amenities provided were below the bare minimum. The bathroom sink was in the room, not the bathroom and the sink is so shallow that water gets everywhere. Storage for items was lacking. The bedding and bed were comfortable. I did not experience noice issues that others described."
